FReeper and Maryland Independent Party Chairman Steve Schulin reports on the completion of his mission to legally serve Obama and Biden on behalf of the Keyes California lawsuit which seeks to force the release of Obama's birth certificate:

"It was another beautiful day in Washington, and service attempt #3 was successfully completed. The papers have been served at the offices of Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

One of the fellows at Sen. Biden's office who had seen me Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday was the one I chose to touch with the papers and say "You are served."

At one point in the followup conversation, he said "I hope they're paying you a lot of money." I smiled and told him "I'm a volunteer. This is a labor of love.""

I think it was projection. Political hacks can’t understand someone doing something just because they love their country and the Constitution. Not getting paid is beyond their comprehension.

The United States Justice Foundation is working pro bono on the case. But I understand that they do accept donations.

Could you verify that the guy was authorized to receive for Biden?

One of my sons does a lot of service of process and it’s drilled into him if he can’t get the party, he has to verify that the person receiving is a wife or relative over 18, or if a business, an individual within the enterprise who is authorized to accept service on the part of the entity or corporation.

Hope this guy fits that bill ... his reaction sounds like maybe he is authorized to accept service for Biden.
