Yuck! I didn’t know this. His reaction to the rape of a child is sick.
Ha! I found it. Actually it does not say the Panama Canal, but the Panama route.
Television reports quoted officials of the Defence Ministry to state that the ship was intercepted and searched as per the international maritime laws. The papers were found in order and the ship was allowed to proceed on the Panama route.
Navy has intercepted and boarded the suspect MV Alpha, a Vietnamese registered ship, that is suspected to have dropped the terrorists off the coast of Mumbai.
The Navys Leander class frigate Vindhyagiri and naval helicopters from the INS Kunjali were involved in pursuit of the merchant vessel.

This chopra guy is a creep !
CNN: terrorist set up advance comms equipment in hotel rooms before the attack(so they didn’t just come by boat)
Yes they must have had some support from someone inside .
Wow. ......If they were primarily domestic, why bother with boats? Cars and trucks get you closer. Faster.
Yep. That’s it! (We add a bit of cinnamon and cloves too.) Absolutely love it. We make sewian (thanks for the correct spelling) as a good-luck dish for all holidays and family birthdays. Wish I could get a bowl of it to you right now.
And also more conspicuous.
They moored just outside the hotel and walked right over to it.
They were seen by some kids and asked what they were doing.
One group after giving a kid a rude answer, started opening fire.
They knew what they were doing and it was very well coordinated.
Pulling a Ryder up in front of a hotel would have been a dead giveaway.
As you noted, there were opeatives inside too.
Somewhere in this monster thread there was mention that there are checkpoints and security on the roads. Atleast to a greater extent than the sea route.
I have a feeling the attacks are going to come like dominoes now.
He has mindless followers just as Jim Jones did.
He is revered here in the USA as a spiritual guru with all the answers and has made millions off of his feel good hype.
People hang on his every word just as teenyboppers did the Beatles.
----And also more conspicuous."
How are cars and trucks more conspicuous than motorized rafts with men jumping out of them? Mumbai is jammed with cars, and they can take you to the front door.
Maybe the rafts were for show....to suggest versatility.

sorry i was trying to say -
Maybe *we* should start a weekly thread on Indian Cooking .:)
Sigh it’s 2:00 am ..........
I'm sure they are, now, after the fact. I doubt they were doing checkpoints on a normal afternoon and evening in Mumbai.

Did you read my post?
It's not for show if you GET OUT OF THE BOAT and kill people.
They lost several of their people, they may have and opening for a Chief Strategist.
I wish they would have done it your way, perhaps it would have been less deadly and much of it stopped before all the carnage.
The Indian Navy has detained two ships - 'MV Alpha' and 'Al Kabir' have been detailed at the coast of Okha; Gujarat.
We have not heard anything else about the "Al Kabir", but both ships had come to Mumbai from Karachi.
Amar Singh, the Captain of a Porbandar boat, 'Kuber' was found murdered this evening. Four fishermen, who used to work on 'Kuber' are missing. The Coast Guard has taken control of the ship and searching for the missing fishermen.
So, now we have the name of the trawler and the captain. The Indian police and security agencies will have been hot on this track for the last 12 hours or so.
When he left India it was good riddance Ha!
