“Wouldn’t it be wonderful to live in a world where there were no prices?”
Barack Obama?
Too long to be my new tag line, so I will keep the old...

Yours is a good one but Dr. Sowell’s can be shortened. :)
Ohbombie is working on it ...
free for others and giving YOU get the bill.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice.
Aye. Imagine the water-boy elevated to head coach in one day.
The sure wager is the Main Stream Media making jackasses out of themselves trying to cover-up the poor economic numbers and the let's-feel-good foreign policies.
I wonder if the RNC will be savvy enough to discredit the MSM once and for all. Alas, bet on the stupid party remaining dumb - easy win.

Well, he didn't take my advice when I told him that 20 years ago (seriously), so I can't trust his judgment.
As Dr. Sowell's book "Basic Economics" could have told us, without prices, there's basically no such thing as economics.
>> where they can play Santa Claus without even the cost of buying a costume
Santa Clausky doesn’t dress in red.
I've enjoyed Thomas Sowell's columns for decades. In fact, he's one of the reasons I turned away from the dark side and embraced conservatism.
Having said that, I'm having a great deal of difficulty accepting at face value the pronouncements of any black intellectual, following Colin Powell's endorsement of The One and even Condi Rice going wobbly. I was happy to ascribe to Dr. King's maxim that people should be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. (How did that work out for you, Dr. King?) Thanks to Zerobama and Rev. Wright, that's not possible for me anymore.
Given that 95% of blacks voted their skin color, I now hold them all suspect. Michael Steele and Thomas Sowell included.

Let's not become like the libs and look at people as groups. Dr Thomas Sowell is a living genius and I would put my money on him to stay true to his beliefs over most people out there. Unless he proves otherwise by his actions I am going to remain a huge fan and student.
But I don’t want a rolex. I just want free gas, no mortgage, and free health care. What’s so wrong about that?
No.
