Presidential candidate
Alan Keyes, vice-presidential candidate Wiley S. Drake, and the Chairman of the American Independent Party, Markham Robinson, have filed suit in California Superior Court in Sacramento seeking to bar Secretary of State Debra Bowen from certifying to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger the names of Electors, and from transmitting to each presidential Elector a Certificate of Election, until documentary proof is produced and verified showing that Senator Obama is a "natural born" citizen of the United States, and does not hold citizenship of Indonesia, Kenya or Great Britain.
In addition, they have asked that the court issue a peremptory writ barring Senator Obama's California Electors from signing the Certificate of Vote until such documentary proof is produced and verified.
In response to questions about why the suit was being filed, Ambassador Keyes commented, "I and others are concerned that this issue be properly investigated and decided before Senator Obama takes office. Otherwise there will be a serious doubt as to the legitimacy of his tenure. This doubt would also affect the respect people have for the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. I hope the issue can be quickly clarified so that the new President can take office under no shadow of doubt. This will be good for him and for the nation."

Yep, and I think that is exactly what happened.
Perhaps I should have qualified that statement. I meant hire as from a management standpoint. If the job has certain requirements, and you fail to produce the documents that say you do meet the requirements, why should I hire you?
I had to prove I was a citizen, had no criminal record - and got fingerprinted with a background investigation, paid my taxes, had a degree in field of expertise for which I was hired. This was all for a $15.00/hour job when I started.
Prior to that, I was in the Air Force and had a full on security background check for the job I was hired to do. I was subject to more scrutiny at age 18 than Obama been his entire life, and for a job considerably less important than President of the United States.
Again, I ask the most basic of questions. Why? Why lawyer up when you can pony up?
Why would I want to read some whacko's blog? Isn't that how this whole thing started? In the blogosphere? If I remember rightly, World Nut Daily was one of the first to pick this thing up and run with it. That tells me plenty.
No, I'm not a leftist. Just somebody whose been around FR way too long. I've see it all. Clinton's illegitimate lovechild, Vince Foster, Y2K, etc etc. I've seen hundreds of FR conspiracy theories. They're usually baloney.
There's some nice, down-to-earth, rational people on this site but there's also a sizable portion of paranoid conspiracy nuts.

Dr. Keyes is the only one with standing willing to do what must be done. Many of us support his effort to settle this matter once and for all. What’s Koo KOO is Hussein’s stonewalling on providing the necessary documents to prove himself eligible to be POTUS.
A couple of years ago I forgot to renew my DL. This error was discovered when I was caught in a roadblock. In order to renew my DL, I had to provide a certified copy of my ORIGNAL birth certificate signed and sealed along with other particulars regarding my residency and citizenship. Then I had to appear in court to prove I had renewed my DL.
All this for a drivers license.
By your manner here, it seems are you are satisfied with what by all appearances may be a bogus birth certificate. He’s not even trying to renew his lapsed DL. He’s the President elect who refuses to release the original certificate to prove he is qualified as a natural born citizen to be POTUS.
Hussein could stop all this fuss with a snap of his fingers. Since you seem to be knowlegeable about most everytning Hussein, perhaps you can tell us why he refuses?

A doctor can make life or death decisions that can affect only a few dozen or a few hundred people. A president can make life or death decisions that can affect millions or even billions of people. Yet, it’s easier to find out about the qualifications of a doctor than a candidate for president. Yes, a legitimate doctor is and should be proud of his diplomas. Chairman Obama should be too, but he has most of his records locked down. If he’s lying about something, even something that is fairly trivial, I want to know.
Obama’s behavior is very suspicious, and I’m not a tin foil hatter, by any stretch.

This is why I am so upset about this whole mess. Just shut us up and show the original long form birth certificate. I’ve ordered plenty of these in my life time for myself and my kids. So many instances require this and to be the President this is absolutely required. Just provide it to the courts. Really, what is the problem supporters of Obama - you should be insisting too!
The Dept. of Hawaiian Home Lands mentions both documents as follows:
“DHHL utilizes information that is found only on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth (a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL.”
Imagine that: The Department of Hawaiian Homelands requires additional verification for a COLB, but no agency or branch of the US Government has authority or responsibility to verify the computer-generated certification of birth of a candidate for the highest office in the land.
P.S. The reason the DHHL requires “further certification” is that birth certificates can be amended, sealed and re-issued under many circumstances, and the COLB does not always represent the facts on the original certificate.
The abstract which is a forgery does not say where he was born as does the original COLB which specifies FOREIGN COUNTRY. This is not proof. Get the facts correct. The only thing that proves he was born in this country would be the ORIGINAL COLB which has been SEALED by Hawaii’s governor after Obamas visit.
If there was ever a good reason to have courts, this would be one.
This suit has legs because the plantiffs have standing.
Phillip Berg and Andy Martin are indeed citizens. But this is a representative republic and Berg/Martin do not vote directly for the POTUS.
In this suit there is both a competing candidate (Keyes/Drake) and a Certified elector (Robinson) making the petition.
Secondly, unlike the Berg suit, this one only seeks proof of citizenship and not a laundry list of other documents that are only remotely related to the issue of “natural born citizen”. Thus the Obama defense would have a tough time attempting to claim that the lawsuit only seeks to embarass him, as it has with the Berg case.
Ahhh -- spoken like a true Obamabot and his gathering herd of RINOs. The centrists and moderates are the ones running from this issue as fast as their lumbering hooves can carry them. It is exposing them for who they really are and driving them into obscurity and irrelevance.
The Conservative movement is alive and well in the hearts of those who value their Constitution enough to pursue this issue to its legitimate conclusion.
