Strange that so many of the Western democracies are moving to the right while the U.S. is moving to the left.

Even after we see socialism failing in Europe and Canada, we still embrace it. I guess the french were right - we are "fat and stupid."

That is what I don’t understand. The evidence of failed socialism and communism is right there in front of us. But we are too busy with American Idol, iTunes, x-Box, the Superbowl - the bread and circuses of our day - to see.
