The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

It’s because of ideas like yours that the sheeple of this country have been “Obatamized” TM. As ironic as it can be the idea of “question authority” is being used by conservatives because of the many outright lies being spewed by the left. I’m NOT saying you are a sheeple, but to just let the aboslute fine points of anything slide is to let the entire foundation erode to nothing. We, after all is said and done, a nation of laws and we need to follow the laws in all cases.
Now go out, earn some cash so you can have almost all of it taken to make sure others have the chance to do the same later!!

Untrue. According to the laws in place in 1961, at least one parent needed to live in the US for at least 5 years after the age of 14 in order to pass citizenship to a child born abroad. 0's 18yo mom was unable to do this.
As for all of the above ills in 0's plan, removing 0 from the running by declaring him ineligible is the best way to prevent every one of them. If 0 is sworn in, it will be difficult to impossible to prevent those measures from passing the rubber-stamp Congress.
Well, I certainly pray for peace and hope that this will not lead to a CW2.

If his mom is a citizen--which, growing up in Kansas or wherever, I would guess she is--then Obama is, no matter where he was born.

Thank you for posting this. I appreciate the opportunity to read about this, and I am getting really tired of people criticizing posters on this subject. In some threads there seem to be more criticism posts than anything else. They say it is embarrassing or what will MSM think. The MSM will never approve of conservative values, and they will continue to discount any and all facts that might damage their chosen candidates.

Probably by a Kenyan notary who has seen and compared them to the original, and swears to it. That’s usually what “certified” means.
His grandmother in Kenya said she was in the dilivery roon in Kenya when he was born.
There are other documents that indicate he became a citzen of another country.
In short yes there is.
There is also speculation that “since he wasn’t a citizen he did not register for the selective service”......AND when documentation was requested through the Freedom of Information Act the reply given has been falsified.

Don't you think it odd that NO ONE, not a nurse, a doctor, a neighbor have come forward by now and to say: "I was there I took part in the birth of THE ONE."
Since a birth could be registered in HI that occurred outside the country, I'm sure his mother didn't see it as a problem. The problems is she was a minor and didn't have authority to register him. Grandma, who just passed away may have done it. Step sister who was born in Indonesia birth certificate was obtained by this method. But mom was of age then.
