I am taking a continuing education business class at NYU. Well last night after we reviewed the teacher (the course is almost over), he gave us a 15 minute rant.
-Paul Krugman is a genuis and predicted everything. -More Regulation is needed -Reagan on was a bad period. We need to get back to the 70s -Barney Frank will help make things better -Community Reinvestment Act did nothing to this situation -Fannie & Freddie were only bit players
Then a girl in the class added she's so happy now since we are going from a stupid president to a smart president..
I am thinking of not going for the final class. I hold 2 masters so I don't need the class for anything just personal development. The last time I had a teacher like this, I got a 97 on the final and a B in the class.
. . . LEARN A VERY HARD LESSON . . .
PERHAPS . . . just before their turn at the guillotine or gas chamber.
Quislings & useful idiots are always amongst the first to be removed.
Caveat emptor :)
Who's going to pay for all the things they are proposing?
- they will answer: government
How does the government get money?
- Tax revenues from the rich
So, if the rich are spending all their extra money on taxes, how are they going to afford cars, clothes, new houses and all the new products that keep the economy going, people employed and tax revenues flowing?
- [sounds of crickets chirping]
If they haven't thought it this far through...they've been educated in Amerikuh, of course they haven't thought it through. They don't know how to think.
Here in Toledo, OH unemployment is at 9.9% now. However Jeep has already announced the layoff of the second shift to the tune of 850 jobs. Of course this number does not include Jeeps suppliers that will have to layoff people.
I do see the GM plant here closing. In fact I see Gm closing all of their North American plants, it is the only way they can turn the company around. By closing their plant here they will not have any more employees retiring and getting big benefits forever. Without the continued Us auto debt their foreign sales will turn the company around, not to mention if they are over seas their tax rate will be cut by 70%.
GM's retired employees will wither on the vine because most of them drink like fishes and smoke two packs a day.
I do see a 15% to 25% unemployment rate here in Toledo, OH with in two years. This city has been run by Democrats for 40 year and they have run it into the ground.
I know it is a poor trait but I will be engaging in schadenfreude to get me through this disgusting time. I just hope that when these idiots are down and out and it is all democrats in charge they will wake up from their socialist utopia dream.
“Challenge the professor.”
Take his ideas head on, and make your point. Don’t let huim try to bully or belittle you. And be sure to remind him that when the class ends you’re going to post an honest appraisal of his performance for the world to read:

What must it be like to never have one's opinions challenged? I would guess one's debating skills are severely atrophied. Go after him!
Some people are slow-w-wwwww learners and other are just plain stuck on stew-w-w-wpid. Would not count on them learning very much very quickly.
Paul Ehrlich? (smirk)
That is, you don't respond to a single question or comment that anyone makes....So what's you're point?...I don't get it.
No he laughed at the guy, and then he toyed with him because the guy was clearly on koolaid. Hannity played it over and over on his show Thursday and Friday, it may be on his website for all to hear.
I was studying Fixed Income, so there’s not many choices. The class by itself has been very interesting. The final 15-20 min chat was not..
The teacher himself talked about he had government workers in the past who didn’t understand the market till his class.
Yet he still trust the same government to regulate. AMAZING!
I really doubt what you're saying to be true...Mkay.
