Constitutional crisis looming over Obama's birth location
World Net Daily ^ | 11/14/08 | Bob Unruh

The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.

The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.

WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.

The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

How is believing the legitimacy of the birth certificate defending Obama? That’s a stretch.

I think he’s going to be trouble in so many real ways that we don’t need to find others. If you believe this scenario, fine. I don’t, though I will follow it to see what develops. Who knows what could come down the pike?

Why for goodness sake do you care SO MUCH that I disagree with you on this?!

Don Ho—love it! If the man quotes Tiny Bubbles in the inaugural, it’s over.

Looks like you're all over this one too!

There's a crazy idea buzzing around in my head that needs to be released. DNA testing...

When Obama gets his hair cut, the barber will be left with forensic evidence. Likewise, Malcolm X has offspring, BHO Sr. has offspring, Frank Davis may or may not have had offspring, etc. The offspring of one of these men will share DNA (50%) with Obama Jr., if in fact one of the aforementioned men truly is Obama’s father. The process of gathering the forensic evidence from the offspring would be conducted the same way; meticulously and surreptitiously collected from off of the barber or beautician's protective covering placed over the subject prior to the shearing or clipping process.

Of course there are many details that would have to be worked out. Once elected, would Obama get his hair cut somewhere accessible out of habit? Could the barber or beautician be brought on board for the clandestine operation? Would it take a hefty financial nudge for cooperation? Can the chain of custody be preserved? Can offspring from the men that are suspected of possibly being Obama’s father be located? Can a pattern of grooming be determined regarding the individuals habits, so that the forensic evidence can be gathered?

Crazy but possible.

I guess it's time for me to take a break... ;o)

And that is an excellent point—but he did release what the state normally provides. Is your main concern that it was forged or that we should be able to see the long form.

I can see the legitimacy in the latter argument.

Thanks for posting the entire conversation - and just so I understand clearly, this is from Obama’s book or Obama’s recollections, right?

It is actually a re-quote from Polito.com. I just heard a blurb on Fox on the story, and assumed they were talking about last weeks meeting. So I did a google search, which led me to the re-quote of the original.

That said however I doubt GW had a lot of respect for Keyes, not in the sense that Reagan did, maybe that was a minus for him i GW's circle. After all they were y no means Reaganites.

Resolution #511 which declared him eligible (as if it had ANYTHING to say about this). But that was not enough; they tried to sneak a provision in declaring naturalizied citizens eligible (also something they have NO power to do). Had some sharp eyed Republican not spotted this mendacity it would have passed. Now ask yourself “Why did they do this?”

I have been following this blog off and on for some time and this is the first that I have heard of this. MIGHTY SUSPICIOUS!

My e-mail is at the bottom.

Here's the secretary of state's response in Cal. Apparently, Howard dean is responsible to ensure that obama is quailfied. What a wonderful world!

Thank you for contacting the Secretary of State with your question about the Secretary of State’s responsibility regarding the authenticity of a presidential candidate’s birth certificate.

The qualifications to be a presidential candidate include the following

A. A natural-born citizen of the United States,

B. At least 35 years of age, and

C. A resident of the United States at least 14 years.

While the Secretary of State certifies candidates for the ballot, each political party is legally responsible for choosing the candidate they wish to place on the ballot. You may view the Presidential Candidate Qualification Procedures for the February 5th 2008 presidential primary election on our website at

http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/elections_runningforoffice_08.htm.

Thank you for contacting the Secretary of State. We hope this information is helpful to you. If you have questions about this or another matter related to the Secretary of State’s office, please contact our Legislative and Constituent Affairs at (916) 653-6774.

Sincerely,

Legislative and Constituent Affairs

Secretary of State

Subject: candidate qualifications

Madam Secretary:

It is possible that one of the presidential candidates does not meet the constitutional requirements for office. Senator Obama has refused a court order in Penn. requiring him to produce a birth certificate to establish that he is a natural-born US citizen as required by the US constitution.

We may have someone running for office on Cal ballots, who is not qualified.

Could you please issue a statement on this before the election.

Thank you.

------------ California voter 951-000-0000

Food stamps have been around in various forms as far back as the 1940’s. The current program didn’t go into effect until sometime in the 1970’s if I remember correctly. I think it was in about 1977 or so, but not certain about that.

Before that time people had to buy the stamps and then use them to buy their food. I don’t know the ratio of cash to food stamps in the 1960’s, but a family I knew as a child in the 1960’s used the program to stretch their food dollars. I was just a kid then, so I don’t know all the details about the program back then.

It is my understanding that the program was something like if you purchased say $5.00 in food stamps it would have cost you less than that to purchase them, but that when you used them to buy groceries they would be taken at the face value of $5.00. I have no idea what you had to do to qualify at that time.

Jr also spent those three weeks in Pakistan in 1981 so where did all the money come from?

I understand Muslim sleepers are pretty well taken care off, up until they make that final video, of course.

So you state you think Obama is going to be trouble in so many real ways that we don’t need to find others. What do you think Obama is going to do to get himself into trouble?

Two things—Obama was born to an American mother so I feel he could be born on the moon (and may have been, we shall wait and see) and be a citizen.

There you go again asserting your feelings supersede law. The statute pertaining to whether he is automatically a natural born citizen, are all over this thread.

Read them maybe you can replace your feelings with knowledge

I mean trouble for the country . . .

Hmmm, socialist policies, for one. Tanking the economy, driving away companies, passing the “freedom of choice” law, giving his kids a really ugly dog. Do you need more? I could keep going.

LoL, so listing a non-existent address proves Obama was born in the US? And it is us skeptics which are grasping at straws?

IMO (is that better?) based on the facts I have read, his mother was an American citizen. Therefore, I do not agree that his presidency is illegal. Awful, damaging and dangerous, yes, but not illegal.
