They need this as cover for the next few years while they are cratering the economy and the country in general.
They need a bogeyman to blame everything on while we are eating sawdust to survive.
Can a President pardon someone in advance from any prosecution by the Congress or future DOJ?
One can only hope they go after the current Bush administration. While regrettable for those Republicans involved, it can only sour and distract the Dems from running their wrecking ball through everything else. I rather they held endless hearings about nothing.
The Democrat’s should forget about Bush and acknowledge how Democratic corruption in Fannie and Freddie led to the banking crisis (yeah, right). In fact, Bush and McCain had worked against the Democrats to try to prevent the banking crisis.
