Well...a lot of that wasn’t so much a rejection of Republicans as it was an objection to her decision to run for governor against a Repub. incumbent. Her opponent wasn’t near as disgusting and repulsive as McConnell’s (which is what saved his butt)!
Gov. Fletcher needed our support and a lot of Repubicans felt like she wasn’t trustworthy after throwing Gov. Fletcher under the bus, so the money that she normally raises didn’t flow in this time.

At least, that’s my amateur analysis. If I lived in her district I would have voted for her, because no point in crying over spilt milk...but I do know a lot of Republicans up that way who didn’t vote for her for those reasons.

Since the election in ‘06, W has been a disappointment, especially this past year.

And his appointment of Paulson and letting him free reign to do this BS that is destroying our markets and private property system. First housing, then banking, and now the auto industry are going to be in debt to the federal bureaucracy with government a partner in all their operations. He seems content to NOT use the bully pulpit to explain that you get out of recession by not inviting government into the private sector, but by getting government out and let things sort themselves out without interference.

I wonder every day what per cent of Americans really GET what’s happening to our country- how dramatic and irrevocable all this nationalizing is- and how every day we lose more of our liberty.

This week my son said 3 of his buddies in the Army have already told the chain of command they are NOT reupping (upcoming in December) and that he had a couple who re-upped in Sept because they were sure Obama wouldn’t be elected.

district includes the west side of Louisville, predominately
African American. She's had some real nail biters but
