“They may want to get a republican congress so he can blame it on them. This would help Obama get a second term.”

I’ll take the risk of an Obama re-election to have a Republican House in 2010 to stop and redirect the flow of potential legislation for him to sign.

Besides. Obama is no Clinton. Clinton was a pragmatist that could reach across the aisle (welfare reform) when it suited him. I don’t see that in Obama.

Besides, as this current election proved, with 9% approval for Congress, the people will still blame the President for the economy, no matter the culpable parties actually involved.

Clinton had a tech-boom at his back. What will Obama have?

I think Obama knows the race card is all played out. History will tell what he did or didn’t do. History written today will speak for hours about him being the first black president, but think about it 20 years from now people will say what’s the big deal(there are minorities all over).

They won’t be able to blame cap and trade and destroying the coal industry on Bush. We’ve find other, undeniably socialist things to use too.

Don’t count on it. With taxpayer-financed institutionalized vote fraud via ACORN, hordes of new illegal immigrants registered to vote, more and more people off the tax-rolls counting on the demholes to fill their gas tanks and pay their mortagegs, the Fairiness Doctrine, IRS/DOJ persecution of Obamas opponents, the MSM licking his a$$ for the next 4 years, a second term is a given.

Anything can happen. Divisions, election fraud, wars, who knows. What is sure is “we are with stupid” in “power” right now, and we are going to witness either an Argentinization of America or a Chavezian hybrid Cubano-Haiti-zation of America. It’s going to be unstable and painful.

“Maybe his place of birth will be exposed before January 20th. Tin foil hat here.”

What do you suppose would happen then? Emergency election?

I see the chances of that happening as well less than 1%.

This is SO difficult to predict at this point. Clinton lost congress but turned it around by demonizing Newt (who was not careful with his words)

We need to start with easy stuff, like Guantanamo Bay prisoners. He needs to be a in a corner, we need the Sheenan/Moon bats /ACLU demand their freedom, because the public agreed with us and GWB on this. It's our first promising winner. It gives us party unity something we have missed for a LONG time.

You’ll probably have your wish. People will know the dems are in control now. Many didn’t know this time. I also saw a poll a couple months ago that said most people would rather have a republican congress and a dem president. The thought of Obama for 8 years makes me ill. These green jobs won’t be a boom because that’s something you have to put money in to make money.

Obama will just blame everything on Bush, and the media will back him up on it.

Don’t forget that the Democrats will pretty much throw the doors open at the border and give 30 million illegals citizenship, all they need to do is, pay a small fine, learn a few words in English and they can vote.

Then all comers after, just have to register at the border and do the same thing, pay a small registration fee, learn a few English words and there you have it. A locked in Democrat majority. Sooner than 2010.

Because of the seriousness of this economy, this kind of law will pass unnoticed and before the American public can figure it out, they will be forced to learn and speak Spanish.

“The Clintons started the concept of the “Permanent Campaign”. No honeymoon, no truce, just 24/7/365 all-out political warfare.

Works for me.”

Works for me, too. But - eyes on the prize: the next election is 2010. It’s more important - NOW - to counter the current Administration than it is to focus on replacing it.

We’re stuck with this Administration for 4 yrs. We only have to be stuck with its legislative agenda for 2.

Bingo! This could go either way at this point. Maybe he is successful in bribing his voter block with giveaways and lollipops but maybe they demand more and he can't deliver.

... yep, a long wintery one term. They can do anything, like Chavez, change the Constitution, making his one term One and Indefinite, finally annointing him in all the catastrophic fawning messianic media “porn” fanfare as a king.

The 52% Stupid, Ignorant voters will NEVER vote a Black Dem out. That means that all conservatives are going to have to become activist.

Unless and until the GOP is taken over by solid and dedicated CONSERVATIVES, the only CHANGE we’ll see with a party shift in Washington will be that our slide to total socialism and tyranny will take an extra month or so.

Crap like this reminds me of what my late friend, Governor Lester Maddox said when told of the outrageous levels of crime in the Georgia prison system: “We need a better class of criminal.”

We’d better get ourselves some STATESMEN or it’s over over here.

I don’t CARE that you’re tired of seeing it, until JimRob or a Mod tells me to knock it off, here’s THIS again:

While I, like many of you, am saddened that McCain and Palin couldn’t keep the Marxist Obamessiah out of the White House, let’s try to keep things in some kind of rational perspective: ACORN elected a president and vice-president, NOT a monarch.

For years, I’ve been amazed at this idiotic quadrennial fascination with the beauty contest known as the (cue the trumpet fanfare) “PRESIDENTIAL RACE.” Our inattention and/or apparent desire for a king or a strong man dictatorship has allowed our system to morph to the present quasi-monarchy from its original foundations as a representative REPUBLIC.

People, the most important thing we can remember about all of this is that the Founders constructed the system to put – AND KEEP — the KEYS TO THE FEDERAL CASH REGISTER ARE IN CONGRESS and current Gang of 535 could bring this out-of-control government spending and the steady usurpation of our freedoms to a screeching halt tomorrow at noon — IF they wanted to. Attila the Hun could occupy the White House and without the dough to hire the bureaucrats, buy the desks and computers, etc., etc. ad nauseum, Mr. Hun would be hamstrung. (See Article 1, Section 7 of the now largely moribund Constitution for details.)

But they DON’T — for a number of reasons: (And I cite the tax situation as but one example of the problem. Don’t get me started on the ENERGY thing!)

1. They understand the need to vacuum the excess FRAUDS (Federal Reserve Accounting Unit Denominators) — there are no “dollars” circulating now! — out of circulation BEFORE the bulk of the dumb masses (say it really fast for maximum effect) catch on to the resultant inflation. If you question that statement, ask yourself why else would a criminal enterprise (the federal government) having the power to “create” “money” with the stroke of a pen NEED YOURS every April 15th?

2. The current Gang of 535 understands the need for the massive tax code (so-called because it is written in code by gnomes chained to posts in the cellars of K Street lobbying firms and understood only by their keepers) to reward their friends, punish their enemies and keep the rest of us under their thumbs with threats of draconian punishments should we run afoul of it. It is impossible to NOT run afoul of it.

3. While the dumb masses rant about the abusive practices of this top criminal enterprise’s subsidiary criminal enterprise (the IRS), members of the Gang can pose and posture for the cameras from time to time and declare that “something MUST be done to reign in the abuses of the IRS,” NOTHING WILL BE DONE until we clean house on Capitol Hill and get back to the HONEST, CONSTITUTIONAL MONEY called for at Art.1, Sect. 10. They’ve been playing a rigged game of 3 card-Monte with us for so long – and getting away with it – that, as Herman Cain’s book title declares – “They Think You’re STUPID.” And, hell, for MOST of the dumb masses, they’re right.

And THAT process starts in YOUR STATE and CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT by finding and supporting decent candidates — at ALL leverls — who will go to YOUR state capitol and Malfunction Junction and do that house cleaning. Not marching on Washington...not sending “money” to the RNC (LOL!)...not writing poison pen letters to these current jerks...but THROWING OUT THE CURRENT JERKS and doing it as many times as necessary to get it done.

A good news in the viability of this approach is that the controlled so-called nationa mainstream media have far less impact on these widely separated congressional races making it easier to get some good guys elected.

The bad news is that I can speak from personal experience about how the national PARTIES will survey all the contested congressional races and if they DO find a candidate they do not or think they cannot control running on their side, they’ll offer a “consultant” from headquarters to come in and ASSIST the campaign. In at least 4 cases with which I am familiar, the Republican National Committee TORPEDOED those campaigns so a good guy who might be more incined to harken to the Constitution before toeing the party line didn’t make it to D.C.

And for you who, like a sad number of the dumb masses, THINK YOUR GUY IS OK, go to THROWTHEMOUT at

http://www.throwthemout.com/articles.php

for your guy’s voting record on taxes, spending or your personal hot button issues. You might be in for an unpleasant surprise.

I often get the strong sense that the American people have some sick and sophomoric yearning for a new ROYAL FAMILY or BENEVOLENT KING to make their lives what they themselves feel incapable of making them without some nanny-state sovereign. Throughout history, with few exceptions conspicuous because of their rarity, those systems nearly always become malignant and freedom founders and eventually fails. With the exception of America – the IDEA, not the place – most men who have walked the earth have lived as slaves.

As opportunities afford themselves (and this is one), I simply attempt to remind my fellow citizens of that history and what lies ahead if they continue in their ignorance of that history.

I could go on for volumes but you get the idea.

One final thought: RE-ELECT NOBODY!!!!!

Standing by for a record breaking flaming by the fanatics.

This National Security Force can never see the light of day!
If we cannot stop that, we won’t be able to stop anything.
One thing is for sure,, real Americans need to get as motivated as the scumbags do!
Real Americans,, need to get as motivated as ACORN and the Truth Squads!
It is a new day! Every individual is going to have a role to play! RINO’s and “New Tones” and “Bipartisanship” will not save our nation from what is crouching at the doorstep.
The Marxists have more than just their foot in the door,, and their eyes are on everything we own, everything we hold dear and our property will be the least of it.
If you are a Bible believing person,,, pray!
Pray for our nation! Pray for revival! Ask God to show you what you can do!
Then,, get involved at the local or state level in anyway you can!
General Gage was the general garrisoned at Boston during the revolution. He received a letter from England from some superior. He was told that it should be a simple matter to stop the trouble he was having in the colonies by just arresting the leaders and being done with it! He replied,, “England just did not understand what was happening in America! If he arrested the leaders, they would be replaced by the end of the day with someone new! Their really were no real leaders,” he told his superiors, “it’s the whole lot of them!”

The Dems started this many years back with their giveaway programs, their “no drilling” policy, NAFTA and condoningand paying the bills of illegal immigrants. It sent billions of dollars out of the country.

It began during the Depression when people asked their gov't for a handout. At a time of crisis, some Americans rely on gov't. Today, we are in difficult times, but not yet in a crisis. It is a shame we look to our gov't for help.

Sadly, Pandora's box has been opened and the gov't had put in place many burdens on business in times of boom. But these burdens are causing crisis and mini-crisis.

I’m not an isolationists...

Neither am I, although I get called a "globalist" by some for promoting international trade. We all suffer when trade is limited by artifical means. We all suffer even more when the free market is tampered with by the gov't.

And the democrats know they only have 2 yrs to “ram” through their socialist agenda.

They have some things figured out such that the damage will be irreversible.

There were no conservatives running in the most recent election. We’ll have to find one.
