(PRNewsChannel) / New York, N.Y. / In her first network interview since the election, Governor Sarah Palin sits down with NBC's Matt Lauer in an extensive interview to air Tuesday, November 11 and Wednesday, November 12 on "Today." Lauer will travel to Alaska to take a rare look at a day in the life of the Governor.
Lauer will talk to Palin from the Governor's office in Anchorage, where she will show him her day-to-day duties as she dives back into Alaska politics. Palin will also give Lauer a tour of her home in Wasilla where he will also talk to her husband, Todd and their children.
The complete interview will also be available on TODAYshow.com.

I heard some rumors about this last night and some heard it on NBC Sunday football game, so I guess it's true. I am praying this does not turn into another lynch mob. I know Sarah has to start to rebuild her image w/ voters that think she's dumb and inexperienced if she wants to run again. Part of me just wishes she would just leave the interviews to Greta, conservative talk radio, Sean Hannity, etc. The good thing is, she is now out of the McPain shadow and control, and every interview I've seen w/ her since the end of the election has been great. I don't trust Lauer though, he is another media hack, but whether we want to accept it or not, she has to do some of these mainstream interviews at some point. I also hope she starts going out there and doing fundraisers and getting a grass roots support going, like going to CPAC and stumping for Chambliss in GA. Thoughts anyone?

The smart thing to do is lie low for a while. Messages aren’t going to penetrate the buzz about the new administration in any case.

Well, at least she’s making them go to her, and Lauer’s interview will be in HER house. If he gets out of line, Todd can quickly pitch him outside in the 14 degree cold.

I agree. Greta is one thing but the scumbag Matt Lauer is another. I would stay far way from them. They will cut up the interview and leave the relevant portions on the cutting room floor.

I think your right on. Do some fundraising and then stump for Chambliss...especially the latter. This is where she can show if she has any star power or not (I think she does).

Or Todd could repeat the scene from "Uncle Buck" with the speedboat instead use a snowmobile :-)....
That is really funny if you remember the movie.......

I agree completely. What is to gain by talking to these maggots? I hope she has the Comb Over Boy fly all the way to Alaska and then cancel the interview. Sorry important state business to attend to!

I enjoy watching these idiots traveling to Alaska to interview Gov. Palin. Let’s hope Lauer gets some moose shit on his shoes.

I’m not sure if it is smart to do interviews with these leftist, MSM goons.
However, I do think it is great news that she is doing the interviews. It means she plans on being a major figure on the national scene, and will probably run for POTUS in 2012.
Otherwise, there is no way she would waste her time with the MSM trash.
To: davek70
Why does Gov. Palin do this to herself. Lauer HATES HER! Why would she subject her family to this criminal ‘journalist’?

After all the crap that has been said about her, I think she wants to set the record straight.
And I hope Todd kicks Lauer’s ass for the fun of it.

If he gets out of line, Todd can quickly pitch him outside in the 14 degree cold.Yeah. That'll look GREAT on TV. (Yes, I am being sarcastic.)

I have a different take on this...
Sarah is now free from mcinsane and his liberal-lite positions she had to spout - she can now be Sarah and begin her distancing from his failed campaign.
I like this but undertsnad it's a gamble.
