I heard some rumors about this last night and some heard it on NBC Sunday football game, so I guess it's true. I am praying this does not turn into another lynch mob. I know Sarah has to start to rebuild her image w/ voters that think she's dumb and inexperienced if she wants to run again. Part of me just wishes she would just leave the interviews to Greta, conservative talk radio, Sean Hannity, etc. The good thing is, she is now out of the McPain shadow and control, and every interview I've seen w/ her since the end of the election has been great. I don't trust Lauer though, he is another media hack, but whether we want to accept it or not, she has to do some of these mainstream interviews at some point. I also hope she starts going out there and doing fundraisers and getting a grass roots support going, like going to CPAC and stumping for Chambliss in GA. Thoughts anyone?

The smart thing to do is lie low for a while. Messages aren’t going to penetrate the buzz about the new administration in any case.

Well, at least she’s making them go to her, and Lauer’s interview will be in HER house. If he gets out of line, Todd can quickly pitch him outside in the 14 degree cold.

The only republican I want to see Lauer interview is Barney. It’s ok Matt...he likes it when you sneak up on him...

I think your right on. Do some fundraising and then stump for Chambliss...especially the latter. This is where she can show if she has any star power or not (I think she does).

I enjoy watching these idiots traveling to Alaska to interview Gov. Palin. Let’s hope Lauer gets some moose shit on his shoes.

I’m not sure if it is smart to do interviews with these leftist, MSM goons.
However, I do think it is great news that she is doing the interviews. It means she plans on being a major figure on the national scene, and will probably run for POTUS in 2012.
Otherwise, there is no way she would waste her time with the MSM trash.

Why does Gov. Palin do this to herself. Lauer HATES HER! Why would she subject her family to this criminal ‘journalist’?

After all the crap that has been said about her, I think she wants to set the record straight.
And I hope Todd kicks Lauer’s ass for the fun of it.

Matt Wower - what a freakin’ joke!! I think Governor Palin is making a mistake by agreeing to an interview with that snake. He’s a partisan hack and will continue the DBM effort to discredit her.
I know that gov. Palin can handle herself but, after the Chuckie Gibson and perky katie couric interviews, I’d duck anymore alphabet news interviews. She doesn’t need them and they are still out to destroy her for 2012. They’re still scared to death of her.

Why grant interviews to the likes of Lauer? All that will come of it will be a contest among those "journalists" to see who can make Sarah look the worst. That's what happened with the Couric and Gibson interviews.
Stay with friendly or neutral interviewers like Gretta and Hannity.

Sarah cannot let these lies about Africa, NAFTA, etc. become accepted “fact” in the mind of the public. Her best bet to prove this meme wrong is to go on the DBM and prove that she is smart and capable and it was idiots from the McLame campaign that messed her up. I have faith in Sarah, she is a true leader.

I have this sense that she sees it as a challenge and can’t resist a challenge. I’m not sure she gets that it’s a trap, it’s always a trap, and it’s always going to be a trap.

Hey, she’s not weak-kneed like a lof of FReepers, the rules of engagement (like the Dems use) is attack, attack, attack but in her manner, which is great. Something like a razor sharp knife sliding in between the ribs, hmmmm? LOL!
