We just left Governor Palins house
.it was an interesting afternoon with the Governor and her family. Our goal was to find out a bit more about the Governor we have seen her on the trail but that is not the most natural way to get to know someone. We talked about many things - family, campaign, energy, women, Senator Clinton, moose, snow machines (and yes, I went for a 75 mph ride on the ice with Todd and then I drove it myself on the ice), the day she got the call from Senator McCain
governing Alaska, and much more
.) Governor Palin made moose chili for everyone and Piper was helping serve the food. Tune in Monday night to On The Record
..

I don’t see why she should give O’Reilly the time of day..... BOR allowed her to be trashed without any investigation or balance...... when I think of the contortions he has gone through to pretend to be “fair” to Kerry in 04 or Obama this year, and how he doesn’t even allow known, factual issues to be aired with regard to those two..... then he allows his putrid hit job on Palin from scum-mongering anonymous sources..... no I’m done with BOR and I hope Governor Palin ignores him.
I agree. I was never a fan of Greta, but she has been great with Sarah. I’ve stopped watching O’Reilly, but I’ll certainly watch Greta tomorrow night.
Greta borrowed the Governor Palin's jacket, boots and pants.
When BOR names the names of the coward(s) and identifies when this happened. THEN, Sarah can correct the record with him. Otherwise, BOR is a gossip columnist, and he has lost my viewership.
My whole family swore off FOX after the election (actually swore off ALL TV "newz"), and we've kept to it, but Greta has me tempted to make an exception.
While Hannity sttod up for Palin, his show is always such a dim-witted shouting match.
Only Cavuto and Chris Wallace are any good, but I'm even swearing off them for awhile.
BOR is just a self-aggrandizing idiot. She'd be a fool to go on his show. He'd pee on your grandmother if it got him ratings.
If O’Reilly wants to “straighten out the rumors” he should go to the source of those rumors. Start with Nicole Wallace, andthenworkup the food chain.....
I lost respect for Carl Cameron. He did a very snide report based entirely on unnamed sources. (Nothing “fair and balanced” about it.)
BOR ran the story out of his basic misogyny and his clear resentment that the Gov. would not come on his show.
Me too....but honestly — I believe having this guy in office is setting race relations BACK in this country, instead of bringing peace and Kum-by-ah to the U.S. His radical, ultra-liberal verbage is fueling the line of delineation rather than calming it. I truly believe that we deserve (as a nation) exactly what we get with Obummer in office. It is a sign of the times as a Christian for me — and I’m not one of the people who necessarily take Revelation as literally as some do. But you have to admit — it is unbelievable in this post-9/11 era we’re in, that we have a guy with Hussein in his name as President, and with a Muslim history or link of ANY KIND, after the horror we endured as a country on that sad day.
Keeping the TV off, and pouring myself into the next generation instead....

Glenn Beck helped Peggy Noonan hawk her book.
The whole interview made me want to gag.
There’s plenty of avenues for Peggy with Oprah and the View, so we don’t need Glenn to clog up his show with faux-conservatives.
Neal ‘cut’ Newt off because he had asked Newt to make the case for John McCain.
It was a great question, and Newt was extremely capable of articulating that final argument for McCain.
Newt was able to work in the coal comments as part of making the case. It worked out fine.
We haven’t watched Fox since election night and I don’t plan on it...until tonight with Greta...and that’s it. I can get all the news I want here on FR and that’s all I need. I listen to Rush, Sean, Hugh Hewitt/Larry Elder. Good ‘nuf!
Greta showed Palin support from the get go.
I was not happy when Greta started on FOX. Figured she'd be another bleeding liberal mouthpiece. I have really appreciated, and enjoyed, her Palin pieces. I have heard her say she doesn't agree politically, but that she respects the Palin's otherwise. As a viewer who does agree politically, I appreciate her candor and reporting.

Absolutely! Remember what a sanctimonious litle twit Bill O'Reilly was about not airing what they had on John Edwards' affair?
Even though there were photos of this guy at his mistress' hotel, BO refused to touch the story because all of the sources were unnamed.
Or how about BO sitting on that story about Jesse Jackson's comment about castrating Obama because it was 'off the record'?
But a couple of staffers from a losing campaign team with a gigantic axe to grind start snarking anonymously on Palin & he's willing to let it go live coast to coast.
Without blinking an eye, he let Carl Cameron present it unchallenged & unverified, as though it were gospel truth.
So much for his ostentatious adherence to 'journalistic ethics'. As if we needed any more evidence that this clown is a total scam artist...
A friend tells me that Greta was on a phone call with BOR’s show this morning and really ripped him, said what he and Carl Cameron aired was unsubstantiated “gossip” — apparently she also said that Carl Cameron had called her in Alaska yesterday, expressed some regret about how he had portrayed the matter???? Anyone hear this today?
Cameron may be in panic mode if he took the trouble to call Greta on a Sunday about it......and if he really expressed much regret.
I don't doubt it. What he did was indefensible conduct from anyone purporting to be a legitimate journalist. That Bill O'Reilly let him do it was indefensible from anybody purporting to be a responsible anchor/news personality.
Unless they both have the IQ's of goldfish, even they must surely realize that both their professional reputations have taken huge hits here. It's not escaping anyone's notice that these two men were willing to go to extraordinary lengths to protect John Edwards, Jesse Jackson & Barack Obama from unsubstantiated rumors, but were willing to go national with anonymous hits on Palin.
And some of the hits they gleefully - and gullibly - passed on that night would have been easily disproven by any first year J-school student with just a quick visit to google (her alleged unfamiliarity with NAFTA, for example, when she serves on a NAFTA related committee in AK!)
They both look like a couple of amateurs, & if they don't realize that, then neither one of them has any business being in the news business, because their hypocritical journalistic double standard has become quite the hot news story itself.
“...that fawning is sadly by order of Roger Ailes,...”And you can show this connection?
