We just left Governor Palins house
.it was an interesting afternoon with the Governor and her family. Our goal was to find out a bit more about the Governor we have seen her on the trail but that is not the most natural way to get to know someone. We talked about many things - family, campaign, energy, women, Senator Clinton, moose, snow machines (and yes, I went for a 75 mph ride on the ice with Todd and then I drove it myself on the ice), the day she got the call from Senator McCain
governing Alaska, and much more
.) Governor Palin made moose chili for everyone and Piper was helping serve the food. Tune in Monday night to On The Record
..

ha— I bet they are embarrassed.....
I am glad to hear that Greta gave them a earful....I just hope it is actually true!
let me know it you get this confirmed by anyone, please!?
Thx— you are a top FREEPer!
It tells me you think someone pooped in your post toasties!
Do you like anything conservative or are you a dem shill?
Cool picture thanks.
Well said!!
I also heard that BOR defended Cameron’s use in this case of anonymous sources by comparing it to Watergate and “Deep Throat” etc. Supposedly BOR said much investigative journalism could not be done without anonymous sources etc.
Now I don’t doubt that when it comes to vicious hit-pieces, but I believe there was once a time when anonymous sources were not allowed to substantiate the whole story, but only provide directions for further investigation, etc.
In Watergate, fwiw, I believe that Woodstein generally used “Deep Throat” for tips, directions for further inquiry, etc. But they did not base entire articles on anonymous tips, so far as I recall (I was only around 13 y.o. then, so I’m going off what I recall of subsequent reading).
Here Camerons simply took the scum thrown up by anonymous sources and put it straight on the air. THAT is a gigantic difference with proper use of anonymous sources to provide direction to an investigation that still must be substantiated “on the record” or with documents, recordings, etc.
Bill O’Reilly thinks having controversial people come on “his program” is the answer to all our ills. He’s so arrogant - a real loser, IMO.
I don't watch O'Reilly anymore - ever since he let NObama walk all over him on that bogus, much-hyped "interview" where O'Reilly gushed and gushed and gushed.......
Anyone who is critical of Limbaugh is a “dem shill”?
O’Reilly and Cameron, whether they intended to or not, have done Palin a tremendous favor. They have enabled her to totally distance herself from McCain and his failed campaign. To the extent that his campaign keeps leaking that didn’t want her around, they insulate her from McCain’s failure.....and Bush’s, too.
The truth is that if they did NOT want her around and didn’t use her correctly because of that, then they really have demonstrated that the mistakes belong to the campaign heads and not to such a relative latecomer as is a VP candidate.
So Fox News tonight at 10? I’m there
I totally agree. That buffoon O’Reilly would pull any evil stunt to get Sarah Palin on the one hour race to the sewer
called the O’Reilly Fracture. Carl Cameron pulled as sleazy a job as he could. Lets hope Ailes reconizes the this little acting job for what it was.
I find calling him a “radio actor’ to be snarky. Just how many listeners do you have every day?
Don’t forget ole shep....old kissy face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have not watched any news since election day..not even the local news...
Is that how you rate people? By how many "listeners" they have?
Wow.
You need to step away from the media.
Well he lost his CNN Headline News Show when it leaked out he was going to Fox..they yanked his show right away..so I give him a pass plus he is working on his Christmas show and we are all in shock over the one getting elected..say it ain’t so Joe!!!!!
Condescending little twit, aren’t you!
bttt
Know your place, n00bie dog.
“I hope she will clear things up with OReilly and go on the show later this week.”
Good one! You’re hilarious! Maybe some day Sarah will be inviting BOR to have an audience with her, if he can step out of his refrigerator box long enough. (I hope the world will be Factor-less within the year.) After BOR ambushed her via Cameron, I doubt that she’d lower herself to appear on his show, or Oprah’s, etc.
BOR is a ratings whore, and Greta landing the Governor Palin interview will doubtlessly put a fly in his panties.
Megan Kelly has got guts whether you agree with her or not, and she stands her ground. Extremely photogenic and full of vigor and vim.
I like Martha McCullem because she is cute (Am I showing my old age?).
Kimberly Guilfoyle is getting quite feisty and I like it in her. She too stands her ground.
Lisa Wiehl isn’t bad either.
Cameron should be ashame of being suckered into a hoax. He needs to apologize to Gov. Palin and her family.
O’Reilly - some times good, sometimes just a BOS (Bag of Sh*t). Too pompous and self-centered (redundant aren’t I?).
Brit Hume - ran out of steam. Kondracke -okay for a lib but he’s wrong more times than he is Right. Barnes - still a good conservative fighter (ex-lib); Juan Williams - not the great black hope. On ocassion he makes sense but then he turns right around and goes “ethnic” on us.
Cavutto takes no prisoners. I like that and he knows what he is talking about. The Fox financial talking heads are also good - different perspectives but are rational and not pissing into the wind. Led by a woman moderator who is excellent but I didn’t catch her name. She is smart, to the point, and attractive (i.e. doesn’t have a sour face or make snide remarks).
Somebody sing “Foxy Lady” to the women of Fox. They are really cool.
And Greta has gotten much better now that she is away from the Natalie Holloway story. You go girl!
