Astounding! Has any President-elect pretended to an “Office”?

Is it that he can’t bear not having the title, so he invented it, or that he believes enough of his voters won’t have a clue?

I had hopes that Obama’s team would be more knowledgeable about protocol and laws, that this transition wouldn’t be as chaotic as the Clintons.’ That perhaps we wouldn’t have debacles like the Christmas tree ornaments made from condoms and non-vetted staffers entering the White House. Now, I’m not so sure.
