It’s unconscionable that McCain didn’t
step in as the ‘leader’ of his campaign
to stifle the Palin attacks and correct
the barbs that Carl the Girly Man Gossip
delighted in passing on.
His and Cindy’s silence perpetuates and
gives credibility to their plan to undercut
her future chances.
And he had no qualms about going beyond
a professional reporter’s role ... he
reveled in it.

I lean towards kabar’s comments. We have to retain our beliefs and values. It does, however, require Republicans to do better on the education front.
It does not help when candidates tell Hispanic Republicans they cannot find a Hispanic conservative to be on a campaign. Something that happened here.
Last I read was that nothing in the way of a decision on any of this has been published on the SC dockets. Still, if the court takes it at all, it would demand that Obama et. al respond to Berg's charges, not produce the birth certificate.
We'd all like to see Obama come clean but I don't think the current story has it right and is premature.
He was as breathless and thrilled as a mean middle-schooler. It was disgusting.
Apportion state delegate counts according to the % of GOP votes delivered in the past general election.

We need to stand for certain principles. We can't pander to various groups in the hope they will vote for us. We have tried that and it doesn't work. We are going to have to take some risks. If we don't, it really won't matter who is in power, Tweedledum or Tweedledee.
Darn...I missed it! I did hear him discussing that Republicans would need to improve our methods using the ‘new media’ and technology.

I do think his comment was about the technology
and methodology of the GOP .. not changing the
essence of our core beliefs.

They are only going to single out the broadcast mediums that have opposed them.
Liberals look at talk radio, and other alternative media outlets as the enemy and a hindrance to forcing their agenda on us.
Remember what Obama did to the campaign reporters of the newspapers taht endorsed McCan?
This is a spiteful man with spiteful childish people around him who will take great glee in “getting even” with people that don’t agree with them.
This state is 3-1 rat.
Just as in eight of the previous ten presidential elections, this independent voted AGAINST!
There are reports of bias...but they are being reported on sites and in papers that are under the radar so to speak.
Plus you have to remember not everyone are as up on politics as the people here too...therefore they don’t see the bias that you and I do.
Other than my soap, I do not watch the alphabet networks - and my soap may be dropped by the network.

It is best to avoid the subject of politics with family member with whom we disagree. We don’t have to agree with family members, just love them.
Friends, on the other hand, are people whom we choose to associate with based upon common interests and values. So it’s perfectly fine to dump your Obama loving friends.
That being said, I empathize with you. Some of my family members are also developmentally disabled.
We need to get the early primaries out of RINO COUNTRY and put them into the heartland.

Howard Dean said each state at the convention had a blogger in it, reporting back to each state. (paid volunteers, I presume)
Obama used You Tube 7-1 over McCain, from what I read. Obama has a significant presence in Face Book, Twitter (?) and other newer services. These were not just attracting the younger voter. Many people are getting more information from these alternative sources.
Republicans in CO use real volunteers to help get out the vote. Democrats in CO use paid coordinators and paid volunteers, along with union workers who are also paid to help. And that’s just the beginning of what we are going up against.
