Sarah Palin blamed by the US Secret Service over death threats against Barack Obama
The UK Telegraph ^ | November 8, 2008 | Tim Shipman

Posted on 11/08/2008 11:24:05 PM PST by Pinkbell

The Republican vice presidential candidate attracted criticism for accusing Mr Obama of "palling around with terrorists", citing his association with the sixties radical William Ayers.

The attacks provoked a near lynch mob atmosphere at her rallies, with supporters yelling "terrorist" and "kill him" until the McCain campaign ordered her to tone down the rhetoric.

But it has now emerged that her demagogic tone may have unintentionally encouraged white supremacists to go even further.

The Secret Service warned the Obama family in mid October that they had seen a dramatic increase in the number of threats against the Democratic candidate, coinciding with Mrs Palin's attacks.

Michelle Obama, the future First Lady, was so upset that she turned to her friend and campaign adviser Valerie Jarrett and said: "Why would they try to make people hate us?"

The revelations, contained in a Newsweek history of the campaign, are likely to further damage Mrs Palin's credentials as a future presidential candidate. She is already a frontrunner, with Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, to take on Mr Obama in four years time.

Details of the spike in threats to Mr Obama come as a report last week by security and intelligence analysts Stratfor, warned that he is a high risk target for racist gunmen. It concluded: "Two plots to assassinate Obama were broken up during the campaign season, and several more remain under investigation. We would expect federal authorities to uncover many more plots to attack the president that have been hatched by white supremacist ideologues."

Irate John McCain aides, who blame Mrs Palin for losing the election, claim Mrs Palin took it upon herself to question Mr Obama's patriotism, before the line of attack had been cleared by Mr McCain.

In a conversation with a stranger about the upcoming election, he told me he didn’t intend to vote but if obama was elected someone would just shoot him so he wasn’t worried.

That was proven, prior to the election, to be unfounded and untrue.

Tim Shipman pals around within the propaganda infested, anti Sarah lynch mob.

“Reporter” Tim Shipman needs to name the OFFICIAL agent who said this or else he is lying! We don't accept ‘unnamed sources’ any longer by the Obama cheer-leading media that lied throughout this campaign, period.

From a recent Sarah Palin private fundraising event

I wonder what these losers are going to say when they find out Obama is going to require them (as a service to their country) to get, at least, three months of military training?!

The Secret Service listened to the tapes and said they distinctly heard “TELL HIM” not ‘kill him’!

Two lines in and the BS starts. I'm sure that the Telegraph describes peace protests featuring the president hung in effigy as having a "lynch mob atmosphere" all the time.

But it has now emerged that her demagogic tone may have unintentionally encouraged white supremacists to go even further.

Yeah, white supremacists would have been perfectly fine with having a black president if it wasn't for Ayers. How dumb do these people think we are?

The Tattaglia family killed Sonny.

But, as Michael said, “It was Barzini all along.

Why read Tim Shipman when you can read Wikipedia?

“The Sunday Telegraph ran an interesting piece yesterday on Fred Thompson, the former Senator and current Law and Order actor who is quite likely to contest for the Republican presidential nomination. After reading the piece, written by Tim Shipman, I looked up Thompson on Wikipedia to get a little more background on him. Then I wondered if I was reading the same article again.”

"Why would they try to make people hate us?" Actually Michelle, I dont respect either of you enough to hate you. However, I despised you before I even knew Sarah's name.

Sarah is a huge threat to the democrats in 2012. They’re going to do to her what they did to Bush: 24/7 bashing. It worked so well against Bush that people on FR even joined the msm choir. Why change success?
