SUNKEN ships loosen bitter lips. The failed McCain campaign, for all its talk of honor, duty and courage, is now teeming with unscrupulous gossipmongers.
The finks turned to Newsweek and Fox News to spread petty rumors about GOP vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin's intellect and character. The magazine peddled anecdotes from sources horrified that Palin greeted top advisers at her hotel room - gasp! - "wearing nothing but a towel" and "wet hair."
Fox News reporter Carl Cameron reported that his unnamed McCain sources told him Palin lacked "a degree of knowledgeability necessary to be a running mate" because, they claimed, she didn't know which countries were parties to the North American Free Trade Agreement and "didn't understand that Africa was a continent."
Let's assume that the McCain rumormongers are telling the truth. Who would it damn more: Palin, or McCain and his vetters, who greenlighted her for the nomination?

To me it looked like he was enjoying giving his anti-Palin report. An McSTAIN is no maverick, he's a gelding with a wide streak of Judas goat down his back!

McCain stabbing Sarah in the back makes this loss a whole lot easier to take - he didn’t deserve our support if this is how he responds to a loss.
O'Reilly makes no sense. He's responsible for putting Carl Cameron on the air to spread this malicious gossip.
Where is John McCain?
As the woman who fought for the campaign with the strength of a thousand warriors is assailed by every loser there is, where is John McCain?
He deserted her. I won’t. 2012.
So that makes two women who McCain has deserted.

..and it's not just an axe to grind for Mormons (as others have suggested)
How do you know he specifically was the one doing damage to Sarah and her children?

I voted for Romney in the past, years ago.
He betrayed everyone who voted for him.
That Romney is a shape-shifter and backstabber has been
documented by numerous sources to which URLs and names
were given.
I appreciate your posts and your position, but do not
like GOP traitors who attacked Gov.Palin (who does not deserve it) or her children (who never deserve it).
I love Sarah Palin and her sweet children and hurt for them with all these false accusations.
But I firmly believe what satan means for evil, God uses for good...
..and I believe Greta van Sustenen is so angry with these ad hominem attacks she flew to Alaska to interview Sarah and let her set the record straight!

It was BOR who pointed out (albeit waaaaay late) that if the gossip was true, it would have been uncovered a long time ago.
I just wish he'd said that when Camron brought it up. But I attribute that, not to malice, but to the kind of mental lapse that everybody goes through occasionally where they don't think of what should have been said until it's too late. The French call it L'esprit d'escalier.

Diogenesis - Somehow I found a link today (on FR most like) to Alan Stang’s website, an article about Romney as a homosexualist, and evidence of how he promoted the “gay” agenda while governer of MASS. Is Stang reliable?
