More good news I just discovered. An 83 year old rat state senator in North Dakota first elected in 1976, who’s district includes my grandparents home town, lost 60-40. Lost to a guy my age, born after the rat was first elected.

Unlike him I don’t remember Reagan. A Poppy Bush VS. Dukakis debate is my first political memory.

And more bad news.

Texas house is now just a 1 seat GOP edge (could be a tie pending recount), Republicans have lost seats every election since taking control, Speaker Tom Craddick they say is to blame.

And the Alaska senate already controlled by a formal Rat-RINO coalition is now tied 10-10. And the pssed off state rats would like to cause any problem they can for Palin.

This kid, if he plays his cards right, could end up a future statewide or federal official. Precisely the kinds of individuals we need to be grooming for office. I pondered running at his age for the State House, but health concerns and gerrymandering precluded that. On fairer ground, I could’ve taken the lady out. I’ve had convos with her, and to say she’s an embarrassing, ineffective idiot is an insult to embarrassing, ineffective idiots.
