A piece of excrement.
College-educated Americans have come to believe that their money is safe with Democrats”
No, they do not. In fact, other than liberal art majors the rest of us vote Republican because we know how hard it is to earn a good living and want to keep our money. Only stupid or ignorant people believe they will get freebies from the Democrats.
Lorraine X is your source of authority?
This is nothing new. He was saying this during GWB’s first term. “We don’t need you any more.” That was the attitude.
They have Christophobia, and react to Sarah Palin like a vampire reacts to a crucifix...
Frum, yet another hopeless minion of the Beltway Bolsheviks.
“Why not just purge the RINOs and take over the GOP?”
Yes, why not? I’m in.
del casse = (Italian for) of the boxes
He got his tame, worthless RINO butt good and righteously kicked by a one-term Senate Marxist, with open and unapologetic terrorist ties.
I don't even wanna hear Word One out of those go-along-to-get-along RNC losers for at LEAST the next two, maybe three electoral cycles.
David Frum - God is dead.
God - David Frums career is dead.
I am going with God on this one!
Moved and seconded.
The disadvantage is that the “brand” is quite tarnished right now.
> No, but with faux conservatives from other countries who like to tell Americans who to vote for.
Fair enough... carry on.
Because the "Republican" brand has been forever tainted and vilified by the "Change" agents. This election was a repudiation of the GOP on national, state and local levels.
Obviously the brilliance of our GOP masters blinded them to the signals sent out in 2006. So, they just kept on doing the same old stuff, while allowing the Dems to completely outmaneuver them at every turn.
A Congress with a 9% approval rating got re-elected and the Dems expanded their gains!!!!!!!
We need to start over so we don't have any holdovers dragging us down.
The dumbed down electorate wants something new. So let's give them old truths packaged in a new way.
College-educated Americans have come to believe that their money is safe with Democrats—but their values are under threat from Republicans.
I see.
And Frum’s conservatism has not informed him that precisely that “college-educated” factor may in fact be the error, and not his conservative friends, because last I checked that factor ranged from liberal to progressive to Marxist, with barely a hint of conservatism at work.
Or, is Frum uneducated about our education establishment???
Frum, whoever the hell he is, is a perfect example of WHY the Republican Party is in a shambles.
If somebody likes liberalism, they aren’t going to vote for a poor clone. They will go for the real thing - the Democrats.
If somebody is conservative, they need a party to go to, and so far, the Republican Party has been it.
If somebody is an independent, they are up for grabs by either side and conservaties have to work as hard and as ingeniously and imgainatively as the Demcorats to get their support and block the other party.
Wow, I didn’t realise David Frum was such a POS.
Neither could Andrew Sullivan.
If he hates American conservatism so much Frum should hie himself back to Toronto or Tel Aviv.
