Where did you get that information? The $40 an hour I mean.

And how much do middle schoolers get? How about the parents that have to take time to take them back and forth and stay with them while they perform their slavery?

And it’s one thing to “volunteer” for that, and that’s good that you would.

It’s another to FORCE it. “Require” doesn’t leave much in the way of “volunteer”.

Anytime the government requires you to do public service, it means you are acting as their tool, advancing their agenda. When you have morally corrupt or anti-American candidates in office, then you have the forced support of anti-American goals.

Tell Mr. Obama that this is a FREE country, and in a FREE country people’s time and labor belong to THEM, to be spent as THEY see fit. Tell Mr. Obama that AMERICANS ARE THE SOVEREIGNS, and HE is the SERVANT of the American people.

How about if they send you down to the hood to mow grass, pick up trash and scrub off gang graffiti? There are areas of this country where you could easily get beaten or killed just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Maybe some would say that makes me a racist, I would argue that it makes me a realist.

Exactly. 50-100 hours could be done by a kid working 3 days a week at the YMCA over the summer. Back in the day, most kids did something like that instead of spending the whole summer indoors on the Playstation or at the mall.
