Where did you get that information? The $40 an hour I mean.

And how much do middle schoolers get? How about the parents that have to take time to take them back and forth and stay with them while they perform their slavery?

And it’s one thing to “volunteer” for that, and that’s good that you would.

It’s another to FORCE it. “Require” doesn’t leave much in the way of “volunteer”.

http://change.gov/agenda/service/

Require 100 Hours of Service in College: Obama and Biden will establish a new American Opportunity Tax Credit that is worth $4,000 a year in exchange for 100 hours of public service a year.

That sounds like the equivalent of $40 and hour to me...;)

NObama campaigned all along on the “$4000 grant for college tuition in return for 100 hours of ‘community service’” That works out to paying a college student $40 per hour for doing what????? Working phone banks for NObama?

I have worked for the past 52 years. I haven’t ever made $40/hour. College kids that cannot cut their hair and do other personal grooming don’t deserve $40 an hour of taxpayer money.
For that matter- most of the people paying taxes don’t make $40/hour. Why should their tax money be paid at that rate to a “college student”?????
