There should be no conservative counterparts of Bill Maher, Michael Moore, or Al Franken.

Or Cindy Sheehan! Maybe we should rent out a BIG plot of land in downtown Chicago and pay President-elect a warm welcome during his August breaks EVERY year. Think that would be allowed in CHICAGO during an Obama Administration? Think again.

Any wagers on the amount of time that passes after inauguration before the first Supreme Court Justice steps down?

I agree with Coulter. Obama should be accorded the same level of respect that the left accorded Bush.

Obama is the worst president in history, presiding over the worst economy in 500 years. Impeach Obama!

I could see the past 4 years how well dems played chess and cheated and republicans were on defensive, always defensive. For starters you act like you want Obama to succeed, he won fair and square election and ran a great campaign, honestly, but had the media and Republicans to help him. Next you poll test EVERYTHING dems propose and see if there is a way to re-sell it as terrible (I am assuming it’s liberal crap.) You pick which battles to fight. You go on talk radio, FNC , maybe even the Obama networks and bring the worst bills down by holding them up and doing a PR. Eventually the public will just assume everything is crap. Pelosi/Dole(93) playbook. With GWB gone, everything changes, cheer up folks, form political resistance, eventually we will love going door to door again before an election it will be FUN again, with Obama in, GWB out.

Beltway Republicans
the sad thing is that they weren’t mushy moderates. They were conservatives!

Someone elsewhere mentioned that Obama’s election has now changed freedom of speech.

That is, the “n” word is no longer forbidden invective, it is now political speech, and thus constitutionally protected. Because it no longer means someone with dark skin, but people who are “like” Obama and support Obama.

Obama supporters are labeled with the “n” word. And since 97% of black Americans voted for Obama, they should now expect to be called the “n” word as well, with the exception of black conservative Republican Americans, for whom the “n” word remains an invective.

To be fair, anyone, no matter their race, who are Obama supporters, can be described by the “n” word. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Joe Biden, Jesse Jackson, Bill Richardson, Rahm Emmanuel, etc.

“I detect a sense of apprehension that no Democrats would wish conservatives to treat Obama as they did Bush for eight years.”

That’s it in a nutshell.

yes, the left can’t run against Bush anymore. That takes away most of their energy. It will feel like a major let down after all the parties are over.

We on the ground can do our part by writing letters to the editors. This may not seem like much, but if we can get two to four letters printed in our local newspapers on a weekly basis it will seem voluminous.
When criticizing Obama in public we should couch it such as and I thought he was going to be different,” or ‘he’s just another politician,’ ‘there’s not much difference between him and Bush.’ We can’t think that who we speak to is as politically acute as we are, speak in terms of demoralizing and devastating generalties.

We cannot depend upon our senators and congressmen to get down and dirty.

I watched in disgust the liberals complimenting Bush...Beckel was doing the same thing as Begala. After his speech they are calling him a “class act.” Huh? In 8 years they haven’t even called him by his title or anything else of respect. Just “W”...or “Bush” (with contempt in the voice).

Their rhetoric is already soaring - this the headline on yahoo right now: Will Obama have to adjust pledge to pull U.S. troops from Iraq?

Adjust his pledge? Hope he adjusts his pledge and leaves my taxes alone.

I will treat him the same way Bush was treated.

I will be there with you. No more playing nicey-nicey. Most of our side has either simply chosen to ignore or is completely blinded to the fact that in this game, sometimes you gotta get your hands dirty.

Where’s zero’s pie? How long is he gonna bake my pie? How much longer should the American people be patient for their piece of pie?

I will repeat this over and over, oh say about Feb. March...

You and I are thinking strategically and that is what we need. I love your ideas. In the beginning we say it’s the same as GWB because that will sell (even to me LOL in some case) , but for really crappy stuff we say “That’s the same as Jimmy Carter’ or anyone that sells (poll test everything, every word). BC is probably not a good one to use because right now BC looks brilliant compared to GWB to most people.
