The View's conservative cutie Elisabeth Hasselbeck stunned viewers today by throwing her support behind president-elect Barack Obama. Executive Producer Barbara Walters asked Hasselbeck, who campaigned with John McCain's running mate Sarah Palin, how she felt after seeing McCain/Palin go down to defeat on election night. Hasselbeck said her daughter Grace, 3, had asked her who won and who lost the election. "No one lost," Hasselbeck said she told her child. "Seriously, today is a victory for this country." Hasselbeck said the massive voter turnout and the excitement of the presidential contest inspired her. "I will get in a long line of supporters
for this president," she said.

William Ayers, Saul Alinksy, Barack Obama, Barney Frank, most of the Democrats in the house, Senate and State Department and Judicial Branch. We are in real trouble.
Nikita Khrushchev, of the political trend launched by Roosevelt's "New Deal""
We can't expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism."
“No one lost,” Hasselbeck said...
Elisabeth should become a stand-up comedian.
That is the funniest thing I have read in weeks.
Ummm....WRONG, Elisabeth. The entire country lost as a result of this election. We are ALL going to suffer.
There is nothing immoral about opposing such a person as president, and oppose him I shall. The fact that President Bush received such treatment from democrats, will make it all the more enjoyable.
However, there is a difference. The democrats trashed and abused a decent man with good values who respects the American constitution. We will oppose and criticize a man of questionable character who promotes evil values and despises that same constitution.
Thus, the democrats opposed good, while we shall oppose evil. It isn't the same at all.
The problem is that the left is thick as rocks. No matter how much I critized Bush for legitimate issues through the years, they acted shocked and would make a comment about me being a Bushbot just because I voted for him and defended some of his early policies.
SHE JUST WANT TO BE LIKE THAT “TTTRRRASSSHHHHH!!!!!! per Rev. James David Manning.
So if the American sheeple had instead elected Bill Ayers or Louis Farrakhan to be President, and the process was fair and the transfer of power peaceful, you'd still see it as a "victory for our country", eh?
Well, at least one part of your post #55 was correct -- you need a break.
Many years ago I took my first oath as a military officer.
I don't particularly care for Mr. Obama and his politics but he is the President Elect of this Republic, as flawed as it has become.
Even though I voted for GW twice, I haven't cared much for his politics either, but he is "the" President of the Republic.
Just as I criticized Mr. Bush, I will feel free to my 1st Amendment rights to criticize Mr. Obama when the occasions arise.
But I do support "our" Presidential office and hope Mr. Obama carries out his Constitutional duties in adherance with that same document.
Hope you understand and I am certain as a conservative American Ms. Hasslebeck feels the same as I do.
It would easy to be as petty as the left has been for the last 8 years, but we needn't sink to those levels. It is one of the many things that differentiate Liberals from Conservatives.
OK, so you don’t know what you are talking about.
Mr. Mojo, you’re delightful....no....really
Why could it not have been Joe Watkins or Michael Steele
I’m tired of reading people say that I have to snap to and honor this man as our president because if I don’t I’ll look as bad as a Dem. They support the destruction of our country as we know it. They oppose anyone who will make it stronger, safer, freer and more prosperous. That was the basis of Bush derangement. I still say Obama derangement is NOT possible.
To tell a freedom loving American that they HAVE to respect this man. This socialist. And say nicey things about him is too much to me like the ‘fall in line and shut up’ crowd. The ‘reach across the isle’ crowd. And I will not be one of them. They’ve brought us to this point.
Don’t pull that ‘you’re being like a lib Dem’ stuff. Too bad we couldn’t be as focused on this man’s defeat as the Dem’s and libs were on ours.
Rush is right.
There is a growing secession movement in MT and TX.
I am just saying.
you are right..thanks!
Hey, I don’t trust the guy and I totally agree with you that he has radical past. What I am saying is that out of necessity he is going to have to move to the center or he will be a one term president and everything he does will be undone by the republicans that are elected as a backlash.
If he does move to the center, we should give credit where it is due. We just need to wait and see before we just start hating the guy!
You just never know. She could be just piling hot coals of shame on them! I think that Condi Rice, John McCain, and Pres. Bush are doing the same. Hopefully, they can be gracious and kindly, and win him over. If anything, piling coals of shame on him!
I’m sure the rest of the girls on The View would have been just as gracious if McCain had won.
Do I need a sarcasm tag?
You have your own problems in the mother country.
He’s not my President, he’s my Chairman. All hail Chairman 0!!
