I propose that we punish the FOX Network for its hatchet job on Sarah Palin.
For one week beginning at 3:00 PM today no one tunes them in. We will demonstrate the power of conservatives when their ratings plummet dramatically.
Will you join me?
I haven’t watched FOX since the interview they did with Hussein.
BTW, I’m still boycotting France.
Already did. I don’t watch ANY news now. At all. Haven’t for nearly a year. Not only am I better off for it, my stress level dropped by at LEAST half!
They are all part of the system, and that system gave us Barak Obama. Not goin back to that crap.
I am 100% with you. Fox’s treatment of Sarah Palin has been shameful, and I am disgusted with them.
I have listened to Rush for many years, off and on. FOX news came to town and I switched to cable only when they became part of the basic service like Direct TV. Hannity and OReilly dominated my TV. My wife came to hate FOX tv, it was always on.
During the debates on whom should be the Republican contender for president, FOX tv decided to marginalize Duncan Hunter. Hannity and OReilly told us they were only mentioning the 3 top prospects. Duncan Hunter was not one of them. Duncan Hunter at the time was one of the 3 prospects with delegates. FOX tv and the GOP dropped him from the debates.
During that time only Glenn Beck gave Duncan Hunter a voice. No one else. Glenn Beck had Duncan Hunter on for a full hour.
If FOX wants me back they will bring on Glenn Beck and Rush. I have had it with weasels like Hannity and OReilly.
The problem with FOX is that they are pandering to people that truly want fair and balanced. We conservatives want the truth. We demand fair and balanced, good or bad. Give us the facts and let us make our decisions.
I will watch Glenn Beck when he starts on Fox-—looking forward to some sanity in this mess.
I agree with all my heart! I just hope and pray that Fox gets what’s coming to them, how can they do this to her?
Stick around Miguel, you may learn something.
>> You see, that is the problem, there is no ‘balanced approach’ there is only right and wrong.
I certainly agree that there is objective morality. However, no political party is always right or always wrong. That Fox News did not always give favorable coverage to the Republican candidates is not necessarily objectionable. It would be as inappropriate for Fox News to bias toward McCain/Palin as it was for MSNBC to shill for Obama/Biden.
To my mind, “right and wrong” are not judgment calls for a news network to make. They are there to report the news.

Great critique and synopsis.
The misnaming of the ME-262 reminds me of the scene in “In Harm’s Way” when Hugh O’Brian ran that beautiful ‘40 Lincoln Continental convertible over the cliff where it turned into a ‘41 Ford convertible as it crashed and burned. ;)
I have the DVD of Command Decision.
Free Republic - or - Media Research - or - My Azz! LOL!
Behind the scenes, you’d be surprised by the Fox News Channel. Those guys are regular George McGovern’s...
And those toy ships they used in In Harm's Way battle scenes were ridiculous! But the plot and acting was top notch, plus the Duke got some!
Captain Rockwell Torrey: Egan, Rock. Can you bunk out tonight?
Of course, it was his second time at bat with Patricia Neal. The first being in Operation Pacific 14 years earlier, so the fix was in!
Brit's retiring the end of the year. Maybe he just wanted to go out on a "nice" note. He's sounding tired to me lately, like he's just fed up with the whole mess and ready to be out and enjoying fishing or something.
You’ve nailed it again!!
Every time I watched it, I fast forward through those toy ships!
They could have used some old footage from ‘Victory at Sea!’
When Rock said “can you bunk out tonight”, she was slipping off her shoes. Which was more suggestive than a female taking off her bra, today.
I remember Operation Pacific and the dud torpedoes.
Greta has spent almost her entire show sticking up for Palin the last couple of days. She seems to find Campaign Carl’s repetition of petty, snarky rumors without sources rather reprehensible.
O’Reilly on the other hand is just condescendingly reminding his audience that his is a “news” program (except when it’s a commentary) and that since Carl is reporting it, it must be “news” and therefore open season. He sort of stood up for Palin in his talking points, and I use “sort of” rather loosely.
Greta is on her way back to Alaska... she just scored the first post-election interview with our Sarah. It will be nice to see what Sarah is *really* like without the McCain handlers/buffoons constraining her...
This is not an issue over Parties, this is about ideological views
It is wrong to report gossip as news.
No one is saying that FOX should have a bias towards McCain/Palin, but only that they should not have one AGAINST them, which is what EVERY network has as well.
