Re: The misnaming of the ME-262 reminds me of the scene in “In Harm’s Way” when Hugh O’Brian ran that beautiful ‘40 Lincoln Continental convertible over the cliff where it turned into a ‘41 Ford convertible as it crashed and burned. ;)

And those toy ships they used in In Harm's Way battle scenes were ridiculous! But the plot and acting was top notch, plus the Duke got some!

Captain Rockwell Torrey: Egan, Rock. Can you bunk out tonight?

Of course, it was his second time at bat with Patricia Neal. The first being in Operation Pacific 14 years earlier, so the fix was in!

You’ve nailed it again!!

Every time I watched it, I fast forward through those toy ships!

They could have used some old footage from ‘Victory at Sea!’

When Rock said “can you bunk out tonight”, she was slipping off her shoes. Which was more suggestive than a female taking off her bra, today.

I remember Operation Pacific and the dud torpedoes.
