Wow -that is some savage cutting & gutting that Nicole Wallace has just performed upon Sarah Palin. Nicole & I crossed swords once, during the Harriet Miers nomination battle. Watching what Nicole can do when she is seriously annoyed, I am grateful that I got away from that fight with nothing worse than a few bumps and bruises ....
That said: Some of these stories do not ring quite true to me, especially the story about Palin allegedly not realizing that Africa was a continent rather than a country. Apparently she did not grasp that "South Africa" was not the same thing as "southern Africa." But there a lot of possible innocent explanations for a mistake like that.

I just sent an email to the campaign saying that McCain better come out and stand up for Palin NOW or I will nver give to the RNC again!!! I will only give to the candidates themselves.

That's what convinced me: It was Wallace.
As a poster upthread said, I think the men are just as bad these days. You know how even the elite of our own party despise all the red-meat conservatives? And how the ‘males” of the elite, plus the ones who are spinning their little legs like ducks in water to be Washington “insiders” , are mostly a bunch of metrosexuals? They’re as bad as any b*tchy female. They’re probably just as jealous of Sarah Palin’s good hair .

Frum is a self-promoter, plain and simple. Was he ever really a Conservative? He is a Canadian, who went to Yale and remained, basically mouthing a "Neocon" philosophy, while claiming to be Conservative. He wrote a book suggesting that "Democracy" was the magic cure all for Third World problems, which Pat Buchanan absolutely destroyed in a review. At the time, I suggested that we send Frum to Haiti to save the Clinton legacy (David Frum To Haiti Project).
Back about three or so years ago, a friend of mine tried to trick Frum into coming to Southern Ohio, and debating me, but he didn't fall for it. He is a shallow fellow, but that is not why I do not like him. He has written some very disrespectful things about principled Conservatives, living and dead. He should have no place in the councils of true Conservatives. He is not one.

I saw her right after they called PA and OH on FOX, and we’re waiting for a fighter, someone to say, “No! Rush led his show with “its worse than I thought”. Hes right, but not just in the context he said it.
There is literally ZERO “limited government” types in DC now. Besides a handful of “conservatives” the entirety of the DC scene is at least socialist and beginning to lean heavily marxist. With the anointing of 0bama as president the marxists will have a lock on all 3 branches of teh US governemnt.
“well.. at least we have the republicans!” right? Not a f-—ing chance. THAT group is solidly socialist now, besides the aforementioned handful of “conservatives”. It should be painfully clear to everyone whos “eyes will see and ears will hear” that the republican party socialists are trashing the ONE PERSON who gave the ticket even the slightest hope of a chance. Why? because she is a real “limited government” type. She cant be seen as what was right with the ticket.
What currently exists as the power struggle for this nation is between marxists and socialists, and I assure you they will find common ground. I can also assure you that none of them give a damn about the founding principles of this nation. They WILL replace the constitution as the foundation of law in this country. What little is left to replace.
So... Here we are looking to fight not only a marxist president and his marxist party but also a solidly socialist republican party. Not only are we looking to fight them, some say we must do so within the boundaries and rules they have and WILL set up. We will have to contend with a thuggish and illegal (yet federally funded) “GOTV” group called ACORN. We will have to stand in the face of the hurricane of propaganda spewed by the leftist media. That isnt a fight, thats the equivalent of placing your own head on the chopping block. Its also the cowards answer to actually tacking action.
What is it going to take? What actually has to happen? For those of you who keep pushing the line back to find the resolve to fight? My god... One would have thought that a federal government controlled entirely by marxists would have been enough...

Also consider this... Have YOU elevated the United States government to the status of Holy idol? Will you not defend your freedoms and the founding principles of this nation from a federal government infested by those who will destroy those very principles and by extension that which you have elevated so high? If so your king is not a man or a god, youve made the wooden doors, plaster walls and expensive titles etched in gold your king. You genuflect at the idol of Washington DC and debase the the meaning and principles of liberty and freedom.
Figure it out fast, The marxists will move quick. They ALWAYS do once they have their talons in.
We should be careful not to attack another Republican unless we know for sure who it is. The Left has been lying and playing us for a while now.
