The GOP establishment better be careful how they handle this smear of Sarah. I’ll leave the party (along with my donations) if they continue to pile on Palin. (btw, so will my three daughters and wife leave. We love Sarah and will support her in any future run for office).

No, MC. I've gone that route and all it does is split some conservatives off from the Republican party. That's exactly how the Clintons got elected in 1992 and 1996. I understand your frustration with the Rs, but the third-party route just doesn't work.

I think the McCain aids did this to blame Palin on the loss. McCain is being terrible about not coming out and saying those things were not true. The longer it goes on the more MSM, Letterman, Leno, The View and all comics will filter their hate to their stupid viewers!!
I have people in my office who voted for McCain that are believing this about Palin.
I am an inveterate reader, and I for one would never attack someone for suggesting that one read Thomas Sowell.
Sowell is an important conservative intellectual and he has a gift for expressing complex ideas simply.

Rush, McCain’s nomination was sown up right here in WV at 1:00 PM on Super Tuesday when the WV GOP killed Romney. It wasn’t because of an open primary either. It was because of a (first time ever) WV Republican Presidential Convention populated solely by WV GOP insiders.
