Nicole’s Knifework
Wow -that is some savage cutting & gutting that Nicole Wallace has just performed upon Sarah Palin. Nicole & I crossed swords once, during the Harriet Miers nomination battle. Watching what Nicole can do when she is seriously annoyed, I am grateful that I got away from that fight with nothing worse than a few bumps and bruises ....
That said: Some of these stories do not ring quite true to me, especially the story about Palin allegedly not realizing that Africa was a continent rather than a country. Apparently she did not grasp that “South Africa” was not the same thing as “southern Africa.” But there a lot of possible innocent explanations for a mistake like that.
Larger point: Would it not better serve the cause of understanding for Nicole Wallace to give an on-camera interview to Carl Cameron and state these points in her own voice - and allow viewers to asses their credibility? Wallace’s fingerprints are all over these leaks anyway, so it’s not as if she has any anonymity to lose.

I STRONGLY disagree...there are still millions of naive Republicans out there that still believe RINO's and FOX are conservative in nature. Rush is hanging them out to dry...about damn time. As for your other points? It's a three-hour show. :-) (Although I thought he mentioned the tanking stock market at the beginning of the show.)
They won't be able to blame W when they let the taxcuts expire in 2010....
BTW, if Americans are smart enough to get the heck outta the market and stay out right now, they can't be too dumb :)

Everyone read and go contact Sarah now and offer your support and then write the RNC and tell them if McCain reflects their leadership the break up if official.
I’m offering Sarah my money, my time and any other support she needs if she is willing to take up the reins of leading an opposition to the McCain wing of the party.
I apologise if off topic by bringing up another talk show host. I thought a bit of a change this morning. He cut down the first caller and possibly had her set up with a no-no question. The electoral college and the proof of citizenship. Later I heard him say someone elsewhere, said he (talk show host) was covering his backside with looming Fairness Doctrine. Cozying up to liberals. Ok, a little hasty on my part. To cut to the chase.
Rush's defence of Sarah Palin is splendidly done. He honed right in on the possible perfidy of those who do not follow rules. Rules like think very carefully if you are in a position of trust. You may be angry, but consider whether betraying this position will do any good at all. Even as I listen, Rush plays one Cameron jumping on Sarah. A wimpy gossipy Walter Winchell voice. This woman is the gold. Wish we had her in Canada.
We all know one talk show host who will not cover his backside in the face of leftist 1984ish censorship approbation.
