Scheunemann was the guy who was fired for taking up for Sarah—I think.

I think you’re exactly right, his primary loyalty is to the Senate.

Maybe FR should open up an on-line RINO Hall of Fame. Induct about 20 initially and then hold an election from time to time. “We will name them and we will make them famous”

Now that's an idea!

The Juan McCain Truth File.

"The only reason I voted for McCain was Sarah."

I think it was Ann Coulter that talked about how many drinks they would have to have before they pulled the lever for McCain - Palin made us able to pull that "R" lever without getting numb first.

That effort would be redundant. The RNC holds elections for RINOs on a fairly regular basis. I think they just had a big one last Tuesday.

Sarah’s real world accomplishments count for something, don’t they?

Guess you believed O when he said running a campaign proved he had executive experience.

Okay then, you are entitled to your opinion.

My standards are quite different.

No, he’s not doing the trashing he is being trashed because he’s a Palin fan. A conservative! This is a concerted effort by the RINO elite, like McCain, who hate conservatives.

The party establishment has got to destroy her and any supporters. That's my take anyhow.

That's true. We need to destroy these RINOs. They need to be scourged and purged from the GOP or left there to wither up and die without us.

Clinton handled these things slightly different. He got everyone seats on the boards of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae...no leaks, no books, no problems.

I am seeking digital photos of Sarah Palin for a new web site I am setting up in appreciation of her. These need to be available for use without copyright restrictions - preferably taken by those who own the photos and who are willing to grant permission for their use.

Please send me a private message and I will provide an e-mail address.

Why was Governor Palin given an ongoing INTELLIGENCE TEST & endless juvenile POP QUIZZES by the MSM that the tipsy buffoon, Senator Biden, was given a pass on? . . . and more, why did the gentleman, Senator McCain, ALLOW the MOST vicious of them access to her? This woman was, and is, a GOVERNOR of a state and a MORE ACCOMPLISHED person than B. Hussein Obama. Allowing the vicious MSM to QUIZZ her like a CHILD was ABSURD! Witness the clowns on Saturday Night Live defining Governor Palin through Tina Fey’s ridiculing comic parody of her - and McCain soaking the attention up like a sponge. - I hope he enjoys “reaching across the aisle” in that mavericky way of his with the stranger, Hussein Obama. He is now what the Marxists call a “useful idiot”, along with the “useful idiot” MSM.

The ONLY reason he had more than 25 people at his rallies was SARAH, and in my conservative book, if he is not intelligent enough to grasp that, let him and the rest of the country club Republicans eat cake!

Even my retarded, barely functional cousin who has NEVER voted anything but Democrat until now, called me the other night about her worries about the evil she saw in Obama . . and not because he is black. She is as much an innocent as one can imagine about such thing. She has barely been functional enough to vote.

Ya know, I’d given McCain the benefit of the doubt when he refused to bring up things in Obama’s past (didn’t agree with it, though) as being “too gentlemanly”. I guess I can now throw that theory right out the window.

What kind of man uses a woman (a GOOD woman, at that!) as a shield? What kind of man not only ALLOWS but tacitly PARTICIPATES IN the kind of attacks we’ve seen? I know he didn’t want her in the first place, but couldn’t he at least show her the same respect as he’s shown Hillary and the rest of the Dems he’s so fond of rubbing elbows with? He only becomes righteously indignant and takes action when Nicolle Wallace is being “trashed”?

Palin worked her butt off for him and this is the way she’s repaid!?! I’ve had a donation to the RNC sitting on the table waiting to be mailed. I was going to send something in honor of Sarah. Now, all they’re getting is a nasty letter. It’s an insult to every woman who voted for him as far as I’m concerned.

I’m giving you my honest assessment of her performance.

They plucked her out of Alaska and she performed very well, but she didn’t have very much experience dealing with the gotcha Democrat media. That’s why her local experience didn’t translate into good media performances. She was not prepared, nor had she had enough practice for her two interviews by the Democrat media. That was McCain’s mistake. If Obama had gotten that kind of grilling from the media, he would not have been prepared for it, either, but the media would never do that to a Democrat.

That is what actually happened, and everyone saw it. She’s still a rookie on the national scene, but she has great star quality.

Greetings Psalm 73:

With Governor Palin being only one heartbeat way from the Presidency, that became the best reason to vote FOR a Republican President in 2008.

In my Illinois Congressional District, Steve Miller, the Conservative Republican challenger to the entrenched Democrat incumbent Danny K. Davis; got more votes than John McCain. Achieved without any support from the RNC or IGOP.

A lesson RINOs ought to learn. But won’t.

Cheers,
OLA

"Achieved without any support from the RNC or IGOP."

I think that we can (and should) take back the Republican Party from the cocktail-party Rino-elitists - if they don't like it they can become Democrats.
Sarah Palin is not the only grass-roots raised, conservative Christian politician in America - her ilk should be identified and lifted up, and the pro-abort, anti-gun, pro-gay agenda Rinos kicked to the curb.
Can't make a go at it without their Rino connections and net-working? Then we go down swinging, with integrity.

You see, I think that McCain’s huge ego allows him to most likely blame Sarah for his own missteps and unwillingness to tell us the whole truth about Obama. His lack of recognition about the dangers of a Marxist in that position is just startling to me. . and I wonder why he did not stand up and call names and point out the Democrats who voted against HIS OWN bill that could have dealt with this whole Fannie/Freddie mess in 2006. I also have to wonder, what are they holding over his head that silenced him on the whole truth about this Chicago thug we got. No. I think he will continue to delude himself that we need to be more “inclusive” and just become Democrat Socialists in order to draw more “Independents” under the Big Tent.

Heck, the media and Democrats voting in the Pub Primaries will probably wheel him out and run him again in 2010 in a mock election just so it will look like Obama has some competition. I wish now that Sarah had just said “NO” and let McCain run Lieberman as V.P. (Sore/Loserman - remember that pair?)

His whole political history is Democrat-friendly. His chumminess (is that a word?) with Hillary always bothered me. That's one of the places the GOP has gone consistently wrong. Why do we always feel the irresistible urge to get along and work with those who seek to destroy us? We've tried that for years and that ship has sailed.

I wish now that Sarah had just said “NO” and let McCain run Lieberman as V.P. (Sore/Loserman - remember that pair?)

I'm undecided about this. Part of me doesn't like that she's stuck with the "loser" stigma. However, that stigma might be negated because the conservative base sure as heck knows she wasn't the problem. Another part of me thinks maybe it was a good thing. I don't know if she fully recognized what she was up against. Maybe the experience she gained throughout this campaign was good for her should she run a national campaign again. :/
