I think it was Ann Coulter that talked about how many drinks they would have to have before they pulled the lever for McCain - Palin made us able to pull that "R" lever without getting numb first.

With Governor Palin being only one heartbeat way from the Presidency, that became the best reason to vote FOR a Republican President in 2008.

In my Illinois Congressional District, Steve Miller, the Conservative Republican challenger to the entrenched Democrat incumbent Danny K. Davis; got more votes than John McCain. Achieved without any support from the RNC or IGOP.

A lesson RINOs ought to learn. But won’t.
