Rendell, Specter say Palin hurt McCain's chances

GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin took some heat Wednesday from two of Pennsylvania's top political leaders.

Democratic Gov. Ed Rendell told business leaders at a postelection breakfast that John McCain would have had a better chance of winning Pennsylvania with a different running mate, and U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter, a GOP moderate, rejected the idea that the Republican party might belong to Palin.

Pennsylvania is lost as far as I can see. Murtha was re-elected and Spector should have been kicked out years ago.

I’m not particularly a Palin fan, but let’s face it, if it weren’t for her McCain’s campaign would have been DOA after the convention.

No, what hurt McCain’s campaign were all the RINO’S destryed the Republican party over the last 8 years.

These RINO’s are not the GOP base, which they will find out over the next few years.

These weak kneed cowards are what hurt McCain’s campaign by bringing the public opinion, and the opinion of party faithful the Republican party to an all time low because of its missing backbone, it’s FAILURE to fight while the rats stepped all over them.

These A-holes will find out soon enough who the Republican party belongs to, and it sure as heck isn’t them.

Last night on O'Reilly Carl Cameron was reporting that McCain campaign workers were saying she was so dumb she didn't know Africa was a continent, that she thought South Africa was just the southern part of the country Africa. That is so over the top rediculous. There is going to be a serious campaign to thoroughly discredit her. She doesnt dance to the D.C. tune, and that is something that the establishment cannot allow.

Obama thinks there are 57 states in the Union.

I got news for Mr. Magic Bullet Sphincter. If Sarah’s not at the top of the ticket in 2012 I won’t vote. I despise this man and he needs to go.

I am telling the Republican Party that if they don't support Conservative Republican candidates to run against RINOs in 2010 I am done with the Party.

Agreed.

Well, I guess when the RINO’s put forward another moderate and he loses by 25 pts, they’ll get the message.

MEMO to the GOP: If you ever want my vote again, put a CONSERVATIVE at the top of the ticket.

Fascinating, a Democrat and a RINO telling us that a true conservative was at fault. Get REAL!

Exactly. We gotta vote out the RINOs.

Remember this simple rule, kids: In every primary and every election, vote for the most conservative guy on the ticket, regardless of "electability" or any other crap like that. Vote for the most conservative candidate regardless of your choices. That will get us back to our roots faster than anything.

For example, I voted for Saxby Chambliss here in Georgia because he is more conservative than the liberal Don Miller. I will vote against Chambliss in the next primary, because he voted in favor of the $700b bailout bill. Whatever conservative runs against him will get my vote.

Vote for the most conservative guy, every single time. The party will get the word soon enough.

I have never forgotten. GW, paid big time for that, btw.

As angry as I was with President Bush for that, I wouldn't call him a Rino.

What hurt governor Palin was the DUMBEST move to let perky Katie interview her for 3 days and air EDITED versions of the
interview.

Palin never showed up on shows such as O’Reilley (highest rated on cable) who offered a NON-edited interview.

Tina fey did not help either.
