When did Markos Moulitsas of Kos start calling the shots in congress? Is there a serious party anymore?!

I hope he joins us in every filibuster just to spite them. (I can dream...)

I hope Lieberman joins the Republican Party. I don’t expect that he’ll seek another term in 2012.

I’m in RINO hunt mode right now, but I’ll make an exception for Lieberman. No one else in his party has been willing to put their country first as he has.

Come on over, Joe. Beats the heck out of having Lincoln Chaffee in the party.

Lieberman could create an “Independent” caucus with McCain, Graham and others, which would help stem the radicalism of the other Democrats. Essentially they could do the same to the Democrats as what they did to the Republicans.

I seriously doubt he’d ever jump to our ship. He may take a ride with us on occasion, but wouldn’t take up residency, IMO.
I think he’ll stay an Indy, and if he is defeated, he’ll retire.

Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee ????? That’s the very mechinism that these guys will use to set up the secret police (aka: KGB). Of couse Joe has to go. I know .... Im a wierd ‘tin foil hat’ guy. After all, Im that guy down the street that said, back about 1995 or so, “you’re going to see an attack on American soil in the next few years”. Yeah, you can’t trust wierd freaky guys like me .... that’s true. Have a nice day comrade.

I respect Lieberman soooo much. I may not agree with 90% of the time, but the guy is able to take a beating for what he believes in.

I would welcome Joe into the Republican party. I know he would rather stay with the Dems. I have a lot of respect for him for putting the good of the country before his true political party. There are good ones on the other side. Sadly they are few and far between. Too bad Zell Miller retired. He was another good person regardless of political party.

Lieberman’s possibly moving to the GOP has been in the works for two years. Apparently, he’s about the only Democrat in Congress with any decent values at all. Republicans, even those who disagree with him on just about every domestic issue, should thank him for his support of the McCain ticket and welcome him to the GOP if he finally decides to jump. He wouldn’t be the only RINO in the GOP caucus, and he’d be better than some.

Joe should remain an Indy. By the time he’s back up for re-election, the people of CT will think he’s Nostrodamus

Maybe Joe and John can create a Mavericky caucus or something.

U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman, the former Democratic vice presidential candidate who backed Republican John McCain for president, will meet_with_Democratic leaders this week to determine his fate with the party. Didn't they hang him in effigy at their Halloween party?
