For the record, the electoral college does not meet as one body. Obama’s electors will meet in each state’s capital on December 15th and 349 or more of them will vote for Barack Hussein Obama and Joe Biden to be President and Vice President.
There is no provision for the Electoral College to look at anyone’s birth certificate. Certification of the electoral college vote means tallying up the votes from each state.
It will be Dick Cheney’s responsibility to certify the number of votes that have been received.
A joint session of Congress is held to count the votes and to declare the winners. The chance of a Democratic majority in the Electoral College and a Democratic majority in Congress requesting Obama’s birth certificate before certifying the election is extremely remote.

Enough with the birth certificate, we have to focus all of our energy on righting our conservative principles. We have spent the last seven years or so reaching across the aisle, making compromises to our principles with the gang of 14, etc. etc. Look how far we have fallen by not sticking to our conservative principles. Conservatism wins as long as you have the appropriate leader. Now is the time to clean house, tell the moderates to go and start rebuilding the Reagan movement. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm tired of always having to move to the center to get something accomplished.
It won't be easy, but the path has been laid out for us. It's up to us, to make our conservative principles priority 1, and not to waiver everytime the MSM turns up the heat. C’mon people, our energy can be better spent on looking forward rather than worrying about the Birth Certificate.

Oh please. The electors are party insiders, they will not be interested in looking into any closets or under any rugs. (Although one pledged to McCain might just have slipped past the "bipartisan" filter of the McCain Campain staff, who would stand up and try to get the information, but it's not clear that even she/he would have standing).

Now that might be different if the information gets into the public domain by other means. Lawsuits are still in play, but I don't hold out much hope for them.

McCain would presumably have had standing to sue to get the information released, but it's now too late for that.

zerO must be allowed, unfortunately, to fail solely on his policies and performance. Ditto his loyal donks. There is not much the rest of us can do except Starve the Beast and try to survive the next 8 years while electing our own in the 2009 state/local elections and 2010 midterm elections, and then rinse and repeat in 2011 and 2014.

There is no way I can see to educate the American populace, especially those under 35, on the results of this election other than to allow it to play out in all its grisly horror.

Those who want to pursue this BC issue will be totally discredited by all sides if you continue. That is just a fact. It has been amply demonstrated up til now that no one in any position of authority anywhere cares about qualifications, the Constitution or the rule of law. We have enough to do to make sure they don’t destroy everything that makes us free citizens, as opposed to subjects.

The best course, IMO, for conservatives is to live our lives as an example of how to survive the debacle that is in process right now. You could help boost the population and resultant representation in rural areas and give yourselves some protection by moving out of the target cities/states and becoming self-reliant for the duration.

The left bought this election and the country, for the duration. They have to prove they can succeed with their policies and their figurehead. I am betting they cannot and that this administration will discredit them for the rest of time with the idiots who elected zerO to make themselves feel good or to get something for nothing.
