There’s probably 2 to 3 million more votes to add to the mix in CA absentee ballots.

Many held Bush accountable the last 6 weeks regarding the economic and banking problems.
The blame was misguided by many voters who wanted a change and solution because they just put in power the people who collapsed everything.

the point of concern is that mccain received 7 million fewer votes than bush got in 2004. thats very troublesome. that certainly needs to be looked at and solved.

I think the 18-21-year-old college age kids did it for Barry. But just wait, in a couple of years when they are paying higher taxes and then lose their job and are living in their parent’s basement maybe they will re-evaluate their vote in 2012. Hey, I was young and dumb once. But I got over it real quick when I got into the real world.

Voter turnout best in generations, maybe a century

Highest turnout rate that we've seen since 1908, which was 65.7 percent...

America just lurched to the left big time.

There will be much pain and suffering before the morons who put this man in office realize what they’ve done.

Eventually “The One” will do something the MSM doesn’t like. I will take great delight in watching Obama fight it out with his minions in the MSM.

There will be brief episodes that will be enjoyable, but the pain will be abundant.

the Republicans came out as usual.

the Regan Democrats/Moderates etc. voted for evil because they think the Republican executive branch was the cause of their 401K devaluation. They were too stupid to figure out that it was Democrats going back to Carter and Clinton that caused the whole mortgage bubble to eventually break. this was helped out big time by ACORN threatening banks who wouldn't give indigents loans. my those little devils get into more trouble don't they?

The college kids came out in record numbers. Evidence of this is in Franklin Cty., Ohio, where Columbus is situated. This is also the county that houses Ohio State. The reason so many of these key counties (including Summit County as well) went to Obama can be attributed directly to this.

I think McCain would have won if not for the collapse of banks and the market some 6 weeks ago.
Once that happened, people simply said “Who is President now”?
Answer - George Bush, the guy who we have suffered this war which isn’t easy with.

Rather than take the time to look into who was really responsible (Clinton, Democrats), instead many voters just voted against Republicans and President Bush.
The stupid thing about it of course is that those who voted for a change because of these banks and market collapses instead voted in the source of the problems. They basically rewarded the bad ones who caused the problems with more power.

IDIOTIC IMO.

McCain was DOLE 2;

only this time with a bit of conservative window dressing (Palin).

McCain went on a foolhardy view that the so called supposed air of running a respectful campain would provide cover for the fact that McCain was too damn occupied with not giving away the store of accrued favors and years of insider entanglements so as upset his own Washingtonian apple cart.

McCain unable to highlight enough differences of his own less blatant globalist socialist perspective with respect to Obama’s more blatant socialist perspective.

Palin was his prop.

And his own cynical tepid sales job was seen for what it was.

I had a hair appointment today. The owner and his wife are both conservatives. Altho she is not political he and I always talk politics when I’m there. Neither of them voted yesterday. His young assistant is also a conservative. She said her Mother is deep into politics, knew all the dark sides of Obama and was totally against him —— but neither of them voted either!!! AAMOF, the girl asked me just what ‘socialism’ means!!!

Our country is in trouble

So I guess nominating a RINO was pretty stupid after all. We tried Dole, we tried McCain...can we go back to conservatives now?

I was listening to Moderate Medved today & he claimed that Center Pubs had more success this year than Conservatives, but one thing about Michael is he does not like Conservatives, he beats them down.
