Yes, I heard it. It was awesome. I plan on joining her 24/7 group so. I’m sure the replay will be there but she sometimes posts clips on her site for free.

Somehow, Obama’s victory over Hillary in the primaries impressed me more than his victory over McCain in the general. God bless ‘em, but, if McCain/Palin was conservatism’s “A” team, we may be blessed that we lost the White House. I think Rush is right and that conservatives didn’t lose, they didn’t even show up to play.
Obama is a vapid, inexperienced novice and is being thrust into the big leagues. Less than two years ago he admitted he wasn’t ready. All he’s done since is campaign, i.e. show up, do what his handlers told him to do and read the cue cards. During the primaries his vice-president elect said he wasn’t ready. Suddenly after making some barnstorm speeches, sleeping on a stinky airplane and avoiding any issue or challenge that would reveal his true colors, he’s ready to lead this nation? The faster and harder he drives that power train the worse the wreck when he loses control.
How long before his own followers come out of the trance and realize “Change” (capitol “C”) is no change at all, or worse, a change in the wrong direction? Obama has thrust himself onto a tightrope, and in January, the media and the opposition will take away the net. “Bush’s fault” will fade into history, but the finger-pointing-and-blame department will still demand it’s sacrifices. That One has shown he has no problem throwing anyone under the bus that gets in his way or is a convenient bystander. Without a Republican congress to blame, Pelosi and Reid had best start CYA operations. At best we’ll see the liberal coalition melt down, because that’s what it is, a rag tag ensemble of various special interests groups that all want their share of the spoils. At worst we will have endless hours of amusement and entertainment as the Keystone Congress and the “Yes We Can” President rearrange the deck chairs.
I can’t hear Rush behind this corporate firewall and steel reinforced girders where I work. But I’m here in the Rush thread most every day anyway. I don’t need a ping, I don’t need to vote present, and I seldom need to type a word. I’ve been with Rush for two decades, and I know he isn’t complaining today. I know he isn’t depressed or giving up. So don’t you do it either!
Stand tall and be proud because all is not lost and tomorrow will bring new opportunities and joys. Count our blessings that we still live in this greatest Republic the world has known and know in your heart that it will take more than a single election cycle or a skinny, big-eared clown to destroy it all. They may surely damage it, degrade and defame and try to change it, but there’s nothing they can do that is irreversible.
There will be other dawns when we will meet and under fairer skies with friendlier winds. I suspect change will be a very pleasing prospect in a few years and the shoe will be on the other foot. This too shall pass.
Little Big Bang of the Rush Tribe,
Out.

Now that the election is over, my sister and I will be re-registering with the Conservative party. Screw the gop. We plan on working hard to elect Conservatives, from the bottom, up.
I think all Conservatives out there should re-register with the Conservative party. Now some people may say “then we can't vote in the primary”. Let me ask you....how many of us were ABLE to vote in this past primary? McCain was chosen before a lot of us got our vote in.
Just something to think about.

"FAIRNESS DOCTRINE" RESPONSE (RUSH - LISTEN UP)
I would like to spread this far and wide. We have a way to get the new regime's attention and put this squarely in the spotlight leaving them no weasel room.
If the regime
tries to take away our right to free speech and silence us through the "Fairness Doctrine" ruse, we can simply show up and stare at them. Stare at them with tape across our mouths. The universal protest sign of violation of free speech. And do it in numbers never before seen assembled. Sure, I'm gung ho with the rest for alternatives should they ever the Patriots duty, but you have to start with peaceful protests to maintain the moral high ground.
All talk radio venues via put out a date to "meet with friends in Washington" for a "casual peaceful stroll around the mall, admiring the many sights to see". It is your god-given right as a citizen to do so. Those sacred sites do NOT belong to the Democrat party - they belong to the people.
Can you imagine if 10,000,000 or 20,000,000 radio listeners all converged at once on the city and moved peacefully but steadily towards the rotunda? A city with an infrastructure already riding an edge? It would overwhelm it. Traffic could not move. Food and water would run out. The only way to move around would be bikes, motorcycles and walking. Parks would be filled. People would have to rough it for a couple of days.
Obama has claimed he "hears your voices" those who oppose him. More than 57,000,000 of you that took the time to vote. Subtract the votes that the ACORN-crats cheated with, and the numbers are about even - no mandate.
This would be the test to see if Obama is a man of reason, or bring out his inner fascist. The entire global media could not ignore it. The Washington media would be caught right in the middle of it. More media would try to rush in to cover it, swelling the number in the city even more.
Obama would be facing his first crisis, should he attempt to bring this. He can be put to the test to see how he governs. From the middle, or from a fascist totalitarian regime. The whole world would be watching. If this was a day where some legislation regarding THEIR agenda were to be voted on, or more accurately he declares he will put the pen to - such as trying to impose the UNfairness Doctrine - then legislators could not even make it to the Capitol.
Obama can further energize and radicalize us, or he can back off on some of these threats against our freedom. Push us too far...It's time we show some muscle.
We did this once before. Put 1,000,000 Conservatives on the mall on Oct. 4th, 1997 (if I remember correctly). Promise Keepers - Stand in The Gap - I was there. The Left was VERY unhappy about it that we would DARE to exercise our right to free speech.
That million people alone put enormous stress on the system. Imagine 10 or 20 times that many all flowing in at one time. It would probably shut down cities for 20 miles around and you would be walking a long way to make it near the capitol. Is a hike worth it to save our right to free speech?
You betcha. Talk radio can make this happen. We can mobilize and have proven it in the past. Imagine if we did it once a month until justice was restored? It wouldn't even hold up under the first "visit"
If you like this idea - help carry the talking point. Get the message into the heads of our voices on the radio.
Cowering before the regime is not an option.
Here is a partial shot of 1,000,000 Conservatives on the mall - circa 1997.

I’m still wondering how Crist could deliver FL to McCain in the primary but not in the general.
Romney was not my first choice, but I wonder how he and Sarah would have stood up to Obama.

You should re-register as an Independent, not a Conservative.
That way when the Civilian National Security Force inspects the Republican, Conservative, and Libertarian registration rolls, you won’t be singled out as a target.
Too paranoid? Maybe a little. But only just a little.
