For the life of me I still don’t get how McCain even became our nominee! Sarah was the only reason I was excited about voting!

A simple to understand message like the contract with america is exactly what we need.
One of the keys has to be integrity. Our bums may be more crooked than we like but GOP corruption at its worst is a pale imitation of standard operating procedure at the DNC.
We need to think long and hard about an exciting program to empower people that can compete with the lefties socialist agenda. People feel financially threatened, that is a concern that must be addressed.
Here’s where I believe Rush failed, Coulter and Levin as well, for that matter; when McCain earned the nomination (that’s a whole other story), rather than being supportive, not embrace, not bow to but be supportive as the candidate of the party.
How is one to maintain credibility as a voice of support after months of tearing him down. It’s as if someone said he wasn’t fit to sleep with pigs and responding with “sure he is!”.

I’ve been on this board far longer than you. I’m no troll as you could tell if you bothered to look at my posting history but I’m not willing to go on in denial and stupidity after losing two straight elections!!! Obama won by 7 million votes. I’m sick of the excuses of why it keeps happening. No fraud can create that number. What creates it? 62 million people who want to be taken care of by daddy government. I know you’re upset as am I. I’m disgusted that so many who probably couldn’t pass a basic civics test have chosen a leap to the left for the rest of us. People have been conditioned to reject conservatism since the 1960’s and it’s starting to pay off for them. We need to sneak it back in on them as the liberals have done with their belief system for the last 40 years...incrementally.

I haven't been out in public since the sleazy Communist won. Not sure how I will react to the first person I see with an Obama shirt or bumper sticker. Guess I will have to peel my Hoogendyk and McCain/Palin stickers off of my car. Don't want to end up like those people who still have their Kerry stickers on!
I don’t recall Rush picking any candidate during the primaries. Rush picked conservatism.
