Good? No. Evil reigns.
This site has turned into a chat room. People have become so self important that a mere thread posting is not enough. They want to be the thread.
HEY LOOK AT ME !
Whitey gonna pay
What’s good about this...
Obama can’t defeat God. God is in charge.
I think foreign policy wise, we will see the end of nation building.
I wish I could add to your optimism. My faith is longer in my country. It’s not mine anymore. BO will take all it represents away. No flag flying for me. Nothing that reflects that I am a BO supporter in any way. There isn’t one thing he represents, not one belief he has that I agree with. (except perhaps his choice of cigarettes may have been the same as mine WHEN I smoked. I happen to have had the character to quit. Unlike the “weak” one)
Silver linings? Consider that when the Serbian and Russian tanks roll into Kosovo somewhere in the next six months, it will be Obama and not some pubbie president sitting there posing looking ****-faced about it. I don’t really know of anything ELSE you’d call a silver lining but that one kind of jumps out at you.
Yes. No longer can the argument that America won’t elect a man because he is black hold water. Of course, I would have preferred this man to have been a conservative black man. But that is one argument out of the election mix.
nope nothing good about this
he will place two supreme court judges
we will have to live with that for 20 years at least
during that time every liberal agenda will be pushed though that court
no nothing good about this at all unless you are a raving homo, communist, markist, islimic nut case, black racist
and yes blacks can be racist infact blacks are more racist as this eelction has proved
Now we have proof (as if we needed any) that America is not a racist country. We have done something that even liberal Europe has never done.
In order to get another Ronald Reagan we must first need to have another Jimmy Carter.
We are halfway there.
Two good things: 1. Can’t blame Bush any more. 2. With the Dems in charge of everything, can’t blame Republicans. When things start going down the toilet the Democratic hand is on the lever!
Well, let’s see. There is really no silver lining, some one please correct if I am wrong. The electoral window for the GOP is closing in every cycle.
-It’s been 24 years since a republican President won Washington and Oregon, now since written off.
-It’s been 20 years since a republican President won California, Pennsylvania, or Illinois, Illinois has been written off. California is just about written off.
- Even with a popular incumbent President, the most Bush could get was 286 electoral votes in 2004.
- Some cracks in the South. VA went blue for the first since 1964 and North Carolina for the first time since 1976.
Please tell where to be optimistic.
One HUGE loss for the liberal cause is “White Guilt”. It is dead and buried. Do not underestimate it’s effects.
let’s hope somebody files today for a Palin-Jindal PAC!
The silver lining is the GOP is forced into finding it’s soul again. Prepare for an ugly extended civil war within the party between the neo-cons/moderate/RINO’s and concervatives.
msm is out of the closet. No more pretend fairness.
Many conservative pundits are not.
Racism is no longer an excuse.
Now that health care, education, housing, plasma TVs, and high-end gaming computers are basic human rights, we should start by posting the names of Community Organizers for each State/City/Zone, get our forms filled out, and learn how to tap into the riches that will be flowing like manna from above. My 60 hours work weeks are a thing of the past. I am ready to get with the program(s).
Unity, Comrades. Yes we can!
Yes, Israel now has 10 weeks to nuke Iran.
This may sound [over]reactionary, but that's the writing on the walls. If they can, the Dems will implement a ban on all semi-automatic rifles (no loopholes) and their high capacity ammunition feeding devices. They will try to be incremental, but it's not clear how radical the Marxist polices of Obama will be. Reid and Pelosi will try to temper him, but power corrupts and the temptations of being in control of the exectutive branch of the US may be too much. His own writings/speeches suggest that he will find ways around the overly restrictive Constitution. Just as the Supreme Court found "emanations and penumbras", he'll find undiscovered resources. If I'm wrong, no harm done--everyone should be prepared. If I'm right, then we're in for a world of hurt. The election of this Marxist is a clear indication that the Republic is dead.
