A crooked Republican is *always* better than *any* RAT.Maybe only a bit better but better nevertheless.

Yeah, that concept has sure done the GOP a whole world of good the last couple of years.

It is my understanding that the winner had to have at least 50%, otherwise there is a runoff.

Any Minnesotans with knowledge on this?

foxnews.com just said there is a mandatory recount because Coleman only won by 727 votes. No mention of a runoff.

There is lots of good news. The Democrats got less than half the gains in the house projected by Fox at midnight last night, they fell short of a Filibuster, Stevens won in Alaska, Mitch McConnell won, Saxby won. The republicans have given Obama the keys to the Titanic. Obama will have to play fair, or he will become known as the first black Jimmy Carter, and we will have the first female Reagan in 4 years.

Lets not get carried away.

Last night was more like Durnkirk then Normandy.

As Churchill said, you don't win wars by retreating and surviving.

That is all the GOP did last night, survive-barely.

If you are getting your ass kicked, you have to have a Dunkirk, or there is no Normandy. The Republicans were lucky that wasn’t Hillary yesterday or it would have been a blowout of epic, I mean Reaganesque proportions. Now to prepare for Normandy.

After a few months, BO will start getting some negative press IMO

Never happen.

This is the 'Camelot' that the MSM has been waiting for.

Every disaster and mistake will be explained away or covered up.

The RATs are going to try to steal this, and the process will take weeks. It’s awful.

I'm not sure the Democrats are anxious to have Franken representing them in the Senate.

They might just let the results stand.

That is what I said, last night was survival.

But before we retake anything, there is going to have to be a lot of rebuilding.

Before we talk about 2012, we need to be thinking 2010 and picking up some House and Senate seats.

Before 2010 we need to purge the Republican Party of all RINO’S. They only know how to lose.

>>Every disaster and mistake will be explained away or covered up.<<

Not every mistake will be covered up forever. The pro-BO coverage this year has been shameless, and I am not saying that every MSM stooge will start being objective, but I think some of them will give BO some negative press after the honeymoon is over. Even they will lose interest in attacking Bush eventually.

Remember, you were confident that McCain would win PA.

Ofcourse they are not going to have Bush around to attack, But Obama is their 'dream' come true.

The MSM is going to do everything it can to cover for Obama, just as it did during the campaign.

Remember, you were confident that McCain would win PA.

Being wrong about something doesn't make me wrong about everything.

Well, I was wrong about Indiana. I thought McCain would win there, but I wasn't as sure about my predictions as so many were. The point is that both of us can be wrong.

Although libs are at least 90% of the MSM, some MSM organizations have a token conservative. Jim Pinkerton is on the USA Today staff. Pinkerton wrote an article connecting Obama and Lucifer:

Link

I know I can be wrong, but let's see what happens when BO actually has to govern. Some of them will never criticize BO, but I think some will.

I never expected that the Democrats would get the 7% increase voter turnout they did and McCain lose 20% of his base (I expected Obama to lose 20% of his).

Even Fort Bend County, a strong Republican area had a very competitive election, with the Democrats coming within just a few points of us.

What we can hope for is that the next two years will so dishearten Obama's supporters and galvanize the middle class that we can reverse those numbers.
