Breaking News >> Coleman Narrowly Defeats Comedian Al Franken in Minn. Senate Race (headline only)

Or Keith Olbermann.
We need all we can get!
Between this narrow of a win and Murtha's re-election, despite insulting his constituents, I've come to the conclusion that, unfortunately, there are a lot of morons in this country. (I know, stating the obvious)
The people who voted for franken bode ill times for America.
Hopefully the recount will not get any criminal dem help.
It’s all the more delicious that it’s so close. Al can almost taste it.
“Indeed. This election has shaken my faith in America.”
It hasn’t shaken my faith in America as God intended it. I honestly see this as the result of a present-day American culture that has lost its faith in God. It is a culture based on excessive materialism and rooted in moral and religious RELATIVISM.
My faith in God is stronger than ever and I will continuously pray for the conversion of this nation’s people. I am asking for a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I also intend to work in my Church to educate people. ;-)
Recounts almost never help. Minnesota uses optical scanners. A recount normally doesn't change the results. Franken, though, will probably sue for a hand recount and then it is Florida all over again. They will examine the ballots by hand then. The Secretary of State is a democrat. The Governor is a republican.
>>Don’t make me laugh. Hussein worry about guilt by association? I don’t think so. If the pals he is associated with hasn’t hurt him so far, why do you think it would in the future?<<
Believe it or not, I think the MSM is going to get tired of talking about Bush and bashing a small, weak R minority in congress. The Republican party has become a dead horse (or elephant) that’s not much fun to beat. And they have to attack somebody. After a few months, BO will start getting some negative press IMO. Save your popcorn.
Very well said. We need more thoughts like that this morning.
Still more than the number Bush won by in FL in 2000. I'll take it.
Franken, SNL awaits you!
Coleman's pro-life position was a major factor in his party switch. Besides that, however, he is pretty much still a Democrat.
I agree he will reinvent himself. I wouldn't be surprised if Bill Ayers was to die suddenly of a heart attack in the near future, and I am only half kidding. While Bozo is at heart a communist he is first and foremost a Bozoist. He is for himself more than he is for his political ideals.
He will flip whichever way it takes to get re-elected, within certain limits. What ever he can't get by force and coercion he will do by simply saying what people want to hear.
He won't implement his gestapo idea for instance, he knows the majority of the people will not go for that, but I bet he does reinstate the draft at the nearest oportunity and tries to rebuild the military to his specs, manning it with generals who are loyal to him.
are there more absentee ballots from the military or other sources yet to be counted?
The RATs are going to try to steal this, and the process will take weeks. It’s awful.
At least while licking my wound, may I ever so happily taste of one shot of a victory toast. Love you Coleman, thank you for enduring.
An automatic recount must take place in MN now. The state law requires a recount with any race with less than 0.5% difference...it ain’t over yet.
Fox just reported on this item.
Oops too premature. Recount coming.
>>Franken, though, will probably sue for a hand recount and then it is Florida all over again.<<
The Rat lawyers will try to challenge enough votes to “win.” Also will try to find potential legal loopholes.
Dittos to the Highest!!
MinneBrains?
You are right; but, remember that he is a demo senator in NYS—worst or not, he will be re-elected when his term ends.
