Any Minnesota election taly with less than one half oh a percent has an automatic manual recount in all counties. It is their state law.
Franken will win based upon provisional ballots which number more than ten times the margin. Dem voters have more screw ups voting — Repubs take more care.

Alaskans had a “vote the seat, not the politician” campaign. Now if he is forced out, there will be a special election and maybe Sarah will run.

He will reinvent himself as President and do a Clinton; he will poll and focus group and do whatever best supports his re-election at the time To do that he would have to be someone OTHER than Barack Obama.

what is wrong with Minnesota?
You're asking that question regarding the ONLY State in the Union to NOT vote for Ronald Reagan in the '84 campaign?
That's funny.

Actually, I think that intellectual elitists within our own party will keep Palin from running again. Or at least try.

RE your tagline: Ive already been researching New Zealand...My husband's employer has researched New Zealand, and the possibility of moving there someday when the US goes off the deep end. He and his wife (both originally from the former USSR, now US citizens and big conservatives) traveled there recently... they found that NZ is far too "socialist" for their taste. They're staying here...

Stevens won? He deserved to lose. A crooked Republican is *always* better than *any* RAT.Maybe only a bit better but better nevertheless.
