i wonder how those broke?
how many were true “independents” and how many were “disenfranchised” or how many were sipping the cooking sherry before voting.

That will be one of the big questions of this election.

He has been running on his anti-bush stuff, but next time around he won’t be able to pull that.

If he was really thrashed this time, he wouldn’t be back at this again, but he wasn’t and like a wart he’ll be back.

at 1:05a, CST with 91.82% of precints in, it was

Republican NORM COLEMAN 1095431 42.20
Democratic-Farmer-Labor AL FRANKEN 1082450 41.70

after Coleman inching up all night, 0.01% it’s now doing about the same for Franken in the final 10% of precincts reporting.

I have never seen anything like this election in my life and 28 years of voting.

DOJ just standing by.
Oh, it may come out after the election and after some time into the new RAT administration, little things like the Khalid tape will be leaked. Too late for the election.

Michael Barone reported 10 minutes ago that most outstanding precincts are rural and suburban and that Coleman should pull this out.

“I have never seen anything like this election in my life and 28 years of voting.”

Ditto. Quite a let down from “Reagan 1980” ain’t it?

The CNN numbers are a lot different then the state numbers

Both say 92% in

CNN has Coleman up 3000 votes. The state has him up 14,000 votes. Yet both have Coleman at the same 1,103,000 total number

there is NO RUNOFF in Minnesota. Recount likely required by law.

Thanks.

I hope people don’t conclude “the polls were right”.

Some were, like Rasmussen... but others were insanely off and should ignored forevermore... like Zogby, Gallup, CBS, ABC, Pew (they kept doing bogus 15 point Obama leads, and then a real poll at the last minute)

People were saying for weeks that Barkley would hurt Franken. Nonsense. RATs always vote for RATS. If that bastard Barkley were not siphoning votes from Norm, we’d be kicking Franken to the curb.

anybody have an update on Oregon or Alaska?

the more reasonable ones were right enough for anyone with a brain to tell we were down too far baring record GOP turnout...which obviously never materialized..

final RCP daily tracking aggreagte was 7 which includes the outliers....looks like BG, Hotline and Rass are going to be closest...IBD missed it

Obama will win by about half that average 3.5 to 4... PV

myself and many others said that if they were with 4 pollwise averages we had a chance

i’m sticking to that

many here scalded anyone who simply did not dismiss the polls wholesale which I thought was folly

of course, the same folks lauded same polls when they went our way.

I don’t think much of the conventional wisdom panned out

no latinos for Mac

no Jews for Mac

no PUMAs

no Reagan Democrats to speak of

and I fear even white housewives voted more for Barry than they have anyone since Slick.

Looks like they’re down to quibbling over the ballots that were filled out in crayon.
