I think we give them too much credit when we act shocked or disgusted by their comments. We should look forward with an attitude that calls the media what they are, a wing of the DNC.
In addition to working hard against Obama, we also need to work even harder against the media, they will and have been a big part of the GOP’s downfall.
It has nothing to do with white and black and brown. My wife is not white; but she shares the values of hard work and personal responsibility that you and I do.
It has everything to do with broken values. Plenty of white people have adopted the Oprah/Brittany Spears/Barak Obama culture as theirs. America broke tonight. But not because of color. It broke because the culture is broken—black, white and brown.
You’re right but don’t think for a minute it’s due to blacks, immigrants, or the most recent generation of young people. This society is suffering from deep veins of selfishness and narcissism, people lie to get ahead, America is not producing the leading scientists, we are skating by rather than accomplishing great things.
It all comes from affluience, we’re so rich we can indulge ourselves. Obama is an empty suit but he’s leading a society of empty suits.
Now, what will he do with it? We all think he’ll make things worse, but we’ll see.
I know I heard this and they were all gloating about the takeover of the minorites and how dems don’t need whitey anymore. In other words, whitey is just going to have to get used to it from now on because minorities will be a permanant majority from now on.
This election was not really about that. It was a referendum on the incumbent party. I don’t believe America just wanted change.
If Obama overreaches, America will recoil against him.

Whites in American have accepted the lie that believing in and supporting traditional American cutlure is racist.
I truly believe it was about the gap between the wealthy and the folks struggling from paycheck to paycheck - (particularly in this economy.) The well-to-do never took the issues of the large struggling lower middle class and lower class seriously. The well to do arrogantly chalked these class struggles up to just not working hard enough. The well to do never took the right steps to try and narrow the gap and the disenfranchised lower class voted for Obama in their own perceived best interests.
McCain could never sell his plan to folks who would not see themselves directly benefiting from his programs. He could not adequately explain why they should be left out of the bailouts in order to do the things that would actually stimulate the economy. He could not explain why tax relief should go to the already well-to-do.
Personaly, I will benefit from Obama’s economic and health plans as touted. There will probably be social and economic spread the wealth programs to assist me. But I chose McCain because I understood that the price of economic relief will be the surrender of freedom. I am so disappointed that my fellow citizens did not see that as well. I feel my generation let my children and grandchildren down. Sad to have lost such a great legacy.

The left controls all the elements of propaganda. When schools indoctrinate rather than educate. When politicians bribe us with our own money thinking someone else is paying for it. When history and civics is not taught in our schools. When guilt and shame is the currency of the day, we get what we got yesterday. Too many conservatives are waiting for a Reagan. What happens when your idea of reality conflicts with the reality that exists?
Choices are to accept reality or to attempt to impose false reality upon those who live in reality. With the term "new America" you can see what their idea is. Groupthink attempts to impose ideal reality upon others and it always fails.

I was worried when ‘hip-hop started to become mainstream... It seemed like ‘60s counter culture’ music, only it got a pass because it was music from a ‘minority’, even though much of the lyric was confrontational and filled with violence.
White youth adopted hip-hop to be ‘cool’ just like we did back then. Now, white youth think it’s ‘cool’ to have a black man in The White House. They don’t care about his politics.
Minorities may very well become a majority if our white youth continue to behave like something they’re not.
I did enjoy Obama’s remark to a youth to ‘pull his pants up’, but the damage is done. Our white youth have lost their cultural identity.
