These next four hours on the ground in New Hampshire could determine the election. If you have sixty spare minutes between now and 7:50, please consider coming down to our office at 130 Water Street in Exeter to canvass or make calls. We need to turn each of the people on our list out to vote.

Tue Nov 04, 2008 at 01:05:48 PM PST We have just three and a half hours before the polls close in North Carolina. There are several precincts we need to hit RIGHT NOW. We cannot wait. Please, please ... if you are anywhere close to Cary, North Carolina, bring a flashlight and some friends and come canvass.
If you know your "turf staging location," please report there immediately. If that phrase makes no sense to you and you want to help anyway, come to 215 East Chatham Street in downtown Cary.
Unfortunately, phone calling won't do it tonight. We need canvassers and people who can drive canvassers in the rain so they can finish their walk packets quickly.

I love the optimism on this board, however, I think when all is said and done Obama wins PA, OH and CO by around 3-5% to make it look like a larger margin than it is.

If Conservatives, broken glass Republics, PUMAs, disenfranchised Libs all vote M/P (which we have every indication they will today from the massive turnout numbers vs. the lacklusted DEM turnout numbers) it doesn’t matter how much panic and shock voting Obama stokes; we win
probably standard stuff. I worked in a barbour campaign once and you’d do this all day long.
If you are free and local we could use your help so come on down. Polls close at 8pm so there is still time to sway some voters. Go McCain!

They are panicking in Michigan as well. I’ve recieved about 5 e-mails from MooveAlong.org today, one saying, at about 2:00 pm, that not many of the newly registered voters had voted yet. I’m sure ACORN will see to it the votes are cast, though. There was a piece on CNN earlier of a precinct in Detroit where a man drove up, went in and voted, and left in a matter of minutes. No one else came or left during that time. Michigan was trailing by 1 point on 10/31 according the the RNC internal polls. Just a little ancedotal story. But encouraging. I hope all Freepers voted, especially in the battleground states!
