The three hags shouting down Hasselbach because she dared say Obama couldn't get Security pass, has villians as friends, Rev. Wright, Ayers etc., and the hags say that doesn't matter Obama will bring change, has a good heart., Blah, blah blah.

Well sorry for deciding to join today, gosh.
Don't be put off by a few of the doctrinal"My way or the highway" freepers here. They are off on a troll hunt (Which there is plenty) and they get a bit zealous when it comes newbies posting.
Two things that are a must if you plan on sticking around here is a thick skin and know what you're talking about. BS doesn't sell well here and you will be challenged immediately.
Freepers are a diverse lot with a vast amount of experience in all fields of endeavor and not afraid to call a spade a spade.

The poll that REALLY amazes me is the AOL straw poll. It is only open to folks with an AOL account, who can only vote once so the poll can't be "stuffed". Currently around 250,000 members have voted since 11/01.
The results:
McCain 140,712 - 57%
Obama 105,370 - 42%
The results surprise me because AOL users seem to tend toward the left...
