OK. You've gone out and voted, like a good citizen. Tell us about it.
How was turnout? Were there any problems at your polling place? Who do you think will win your local races?
15th vote cast. By the time I left, the line was out the door and cars stretching way down the street.
Northeast NJ, polls opened 6am, wait was about 40 minutes, about 500 people had voted before me. No problems that I could see.
In New Jersey, so many people are registering their cars in FL or VA in order to avoid the ridiculous NJ auto insurance rates, that a lot of out-of-state plates in the lot doesn’t really mean anything.
Not that anybody is going to cross a line to cast yet another vote in NJ for Bambi. I am afraid he has this state in the bag.
Ok I voted and live in a little village of Upper Nyack NY so need I say more. Liberals everywhere!!!! However I was a bit put off that I was asked for my license. Not everyone was but it was random. I asked why and was told it was due to heavy voter turn out . Lucky for me some one vouched for me or I would have had to go back out to my car and get my license and stand on line again. Dont get me wrong I am all for asking for licenses to prove who you are but then ask everyone. Whats fair is fair.
Standing in line now but I can say that previous elections I showed up fifteen minutes prior to polls opening and was always first in line. Expecting heavy turnout I got here 30 minutes early and am deep in a line thas growing very fast. faster than usual. Turnout looks like the one thing the pundits will get right today. LOTS of McCain stickers on bumpers in the parking lot with just one Odumbo.

I voted early about two weeks ago, and I was amazed at the turnout even back then.
I live in southern Indiana. I got to the polls a little before 6:00 AM. There was a huge line already. Even though there are 3 precincts that vote at this location it was almost 7:00 before the wife and I were able to cast our votes. I have never seen so many people voting like this before. Has to be record turnout
This has not been your average election and the enormous turnout in polling place and in pre-voting can be construed either way one wants.

dropped off our mail in ballots yesterday. I refuse to mail them in. There was a line of cars doing the same thing.
Yeah, it was like that at our polling place, too. People were just grim-faced and determined to go vote.
All the Bambi supporters I know are euphoric, these days. I hope that means that all of those grim-faced line-standers are there to vote for McCain/Palin!
I voted last week early as hubby had minor surgery yesterday and we wanted to be safe in case there were any problems. (He’s fine).
No problem voting early. My brother and sister in law voted early because her due date is Friday. Good thing they did just got a call they’re on the way to the hospital!
I’m glad it’s not Hillary for the dems as I live 6 blocks from her elementary school where I would normally vote and it would be nuts around here today.
Butler County Ohio. Voting was heavy. Seemed like a lot of Democrats for a conservative district. I know because they wouldn’t shut up in line. Still talking about how 2004 was a stolen election.

Will be going out with the lovely and talented Mrs. exit82 shortly, here in Southern Delaware. Then to the firehouse for an all-you-can-eat breakfast fundraiser.
Then back to the polls with my elderly MIL and with my daughter. Checked in with my sons last night.

Reporting from the heart of a key precinct in a key state. Lots of minorities and bohemian-looking young people. That was discouraging. But I saw a few McCain/Palin and NObama bumper stickers on the way out, so maybe it's a mixed bag.
A few warm, dry morning of an Indian Summer day. Predicting maybe 80-% turnout in OH. Here's hoping for Mac and Sarah...
I live in what is called the most conservative area of Texas and early voting here has shattered all records. I would like to think that with the heavy turn out in solid republican areas are a snap shot of what is happening across the country. Think it is republicans coming out the wood work to defeat Obama.

Got to polls about 6:30 AM, they opened at 7.
Wore ball cap with “MOLON LABE” on it to identify myself to any other erudite bitter clingers.
About fifteen people in line in front of me.
When I left at about 7:10, there were about 100 people in line.
Hard to tell about voters and who they’re voting for. No neckties on anybody in line.
Nobody exit polled me.
Weather looks good here in NJ. Overcast and mild, but not raining. People are not going to be kept away by rain.

Unable to vote yet. I am sahm, two toddlers. Arrived at polling place @ 5:30 and hundreds waiting in line, cars backed up, parking lots across the street full, it is raining, kids cranky, have to go potty, etc.
We will go back at 10.
Line was 80% black, which was suprising, I live in a mostly white surburb.
We have our work cut out for us either way. Many thanks to my FReeper brothers & sisters. We must all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately.
