I sure hope there is a place in the McCain administration
for Mr. Sowell.

Bump.

I think we're going to see some fine conservative leaders emerge from the minority ranks in the near future. There's a load of talent out there right now.

I can't wait to see how the MSM treats the first black conservative Republican Presidential candidate. I wonder if that man or woman will get the same fawning treatment that Obama received. I think not, but it will be fun to ridicule them when they trash that person. It will also be interesting to see how black voters treat a black Republican running for President.

If the left succeeds, it will be like amputating your arm because of a stomach ache.

To add to the painful irony, many of those who are most eager to have a massive government intrusion into the market are among those whose previous intrusions into the market are largely responsible for the current financial crisis.

As usual, Sowell's right.

Alan Keyes was on the ballot in this race, but I don't think that most blacks even gave him the time of day, because he's a Republican / conservative.

'Course, most white voters didn't either, but still...

I was just thinking how I would gladly vote for Mr. Sowell before voting for McCain. Skin color is not the issue to me — it is the Muslim Kenyan candidate that I cannot vote for.
I would vote for him even if he were nominated by the Democrats.

Add to the mix Dr. Walther Williams and history will tell us that America was saved because of the black man.
