Thank you, Lauren, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
Now for our local DC Metroland weather report
~ Today....Rain. Highs in the lower 60s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.
~ Tonight.......Rain. Lows in the lower 50s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.
I'm back at work. Feeling a little better but still not back to par.
Won't be around much today since it's election day and I want to get tabs on whatz happening around the country. I'm having a nightmare of a time picturing Obama sitting in the Oval Office or his wife as our First Lady!
Time for me to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!
Now remember, the Canteen is ALWAYS
So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM

shenanigans happe OUTSIDE as much as inside.
Free Cigarettes Lady in Milwakee was caught OUTSIDE of any plling place.
Already voted friend. :)
Doin’ all I can to help McCain!
God love you!
So far, the polls are massively crowded all over Manhattan. However, out in my neck of the woods, I walked in and out in under five minutes. Bought some coffee and grabbed a bus and got to work 20 minutes earlier than usual.
If there's massive Obama turnout in NYC and Chicago, hey, more power to them. Stand on line for 3 hours to show your support. G'head.
TS
Already voted.
Morning Tanniker. Glad to hear you didn’t have to wait in a long line.
I voted last week, absentee.
((HUGS))Morning, Beach. I just came back from the voting booth. How’s it going?
May His Grace and Mercy continue to be upon us...
Good morning, tanniker
((hugs))
Good for you (at least I hope you voted right! LOL)
I meet up with hubby later and vote before booths close! Keep everyone in suspense. LOL
Good morning and (((HUGS))) EG. Better today. I have not voted yet. I wait until later when the lines a smaller. I like keeping the MSM guessing!
Glad to hear you’ve done yours already. How were the lines?
LOL
Good morning, MM
There was quite a few people out there. About 5 or 6 in our small town.
This morning at 6:40am my wife and I joined a line outside a polling precinct that usually has people arriving just as it opens and then a slow but steady trickle of voters throughout the day. We finally left the polling place an hour later. It has never, in the past thirty years, taken us that long to cast a vote. My beloved wife took the above oath several times, and today we both fulfilled it in the only way left to us, we voted to conserve the US.
When the riots start, my home will be defended. My profile says that I will surrender my guns, but only after I have spent all the ammunition I possess. Count on it.
Extending my comments, the turnout was the most I’ve ever seen since I’ve been a part of the political process. I think everybody is recognizing what’s at stake here.
