Pennsylvania is shaping up to be what Florida was in 2000 and Ohio was in 2008. On the morning drive in, I was tuned into our nationally sydicated talk show which broadcasts from Pittsburgh, PA.
He was reading from GOP internal polls. McCain has actually moved into the lead in Pennsylvania (but still within the margin of error) and was only 1% behind in Michigan. Keep working and don't give up!

One wonders why you would repost these numbers, when you’ve been told that those are not the same numbers being discussed here.
Hang on. Here’s the exact list. It’s actually 18 states, and no Indiana. I was trying to recall from memory and missed a few. CO, FL, IA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NE, NH, NM, NC, OH, OR, PA, VA, WA, WI.
I guess you could call for any race, but I know they were specifically talking about the presidential race for most of the training.
How reliable are the GOP’s own polls? I would think very accurate considering the fact that they would want to know the truth. If the skewed their own polls they would only be hurting themselves.
I heard it is suppose to rain in Philly tomorrow. RAIN BABY RAIN!
Especially when you consider there is NO early voting in PA, this comment has extra oomph. ,p. Also there is coal mining in western Virginia (No I did not mean to say West Virginia, I meant to say "western Virginia").
my mil is a dem, and she is voting mcpain
I don’t think anyone really believes those numbers.
I think these polls could be misinformation - Axelrod wants Mccain to divert money away from Pennsylvania into Michigan.
When all the reputable pollsters are predicting a McCain loss, this is the only refuge people have left - to believe in anonymous sources which tell lies to make them feel good. This is the downside of the internet, that anyone can post any crap anonymously. You have to be very judicious.
By the way, no one outside these anonymous message boards (here and the PUMA boards) believes McCain is going to win. Even McCain does not believe that, and he has scheduled a small election night "party" in a hotel ballroom in Phoenix. Contrast that with the big party planned in Grant Park.
Let us hope that the whole world of professionals is wrong, and the anonymous message boards full of nonsense and unsourced crap are right!!
voter apathy...convince the populus that it is in the bag for obama and to just stay home...if we turn out in force, the dems do not have a chance
They original poster is incorrect. The numbers I posted are indeed what Quinn reported on his show. As stated, I wrote them down as he said them. He later said them again and I checked it against what I wrote down.
WatchOutForSnakes, indeed!
How do you know what Axelrod wants, hmmmm?
Very well put Frantzie....
Markets must exist in an environment of trust, we need to know the sausage we buy will not make us sick (FDA) and that markets have men of good will on the other side of the table.
Dodd and Frank had Freddie and Fannie running without being under any of the FDR acts of 33', 34' or 40' (the last one being investment advisory act). You are right, the Moral Hazard taken out via no regulation, and Socialism by forcing banks to take risk they wouldn't if not for the arm twisting from the Feds.
Hmm...interesting. So someone called in again today and re-read the same numbers that were given days ago?
Keep workin it ping!
that’s specter’s way of saying racism doesn’t exist but people are racists!
I am! Plus I am taking off on Wednesday to be a couch potato all day!
ping
I don’t know about Tuesday, but I’m definitely staying clear of the city on Wednesday. The MSM has warned me there will be problems.
If they call PA for McCain, then it's probably over. Which means they will delay calling it as much as possible if it doesn't look like an Obama win.
